  • I'm in! Erik, similar layout to last years tyre'd goat stages at three sisters?

  • I'm not entering, so no ambulance sorry - need to get this throttle body problem sorted once and for all. May try and get down at some point during the day tho.

  • lol for those who don't know what m&s really stands for, its short for mud & snow (or big knobbley tyres) si

Erik,

As I was wandering around I did wonder about that, well the circular strips at three sisters. :D

Airfields have to be the choice for the large spaces, then again TVR + Airfield = Buying Shares in Toyo.

ps I will get that CD cut tonight honestly :D

i will be on slicks next time... so throw as much into it as you dare....

This'll be for the tarmac event then..... :D

Does that include rain? and uneven-camber bends? :D

will find a way.

the force is strong in this dude!

....and doing 'donuts' on muddy grass..... :airjock: full respect!!

I think the circular strips at 3 Sisters are a little too 'loose' and liable to breaking up to allow cars on ~ they're for flying fixed planes or something.....

Loose? Oh, ideal for my latest acquisition :D

Is it a rally car by any chance???..........

a favorit one that i currently a non runner

It is a rally car :D

I pick it up on Wednesday. I collect the "new" driveshaft Tuesday and I've just got the lumention wiring diagram, so it will all be fine. Insurance almost sorted, MOT will be done next week, tax done just after, and I've warmed up the lump hammer to "repair" the bodywork :D

whats your new toy john?????

si

This

Going to use it for single venue tarmac and as a general beginners motorsport hack for a bit of fun :D

On the otherhand, it might be this

:D

na, you haven't bought that.... i haven't sold it to you yet, it's still mine :D :D :D

Or maybe both, as the Scooby's engine's missing! :D :D

Just as well I was wearing a big coat last night :D

Good choice and a bargain price!

An excellent first event would be Hixon in March, a bit of loose and a bit of tarmac, a little bit rough so there are no tarmac specials around to annoy you. Plenty of handbrake scope too :D

Erik, could you send me details of that and which mc I need to belong to to enter?

Do you sell tarmac tyres? All its got is 4 x M&S and 4 X inters or are road tyres acceptable?

Hixon is OK with your Streetly membership and I'd recommend you use the M&S for Hixon in March, they give better grip in the corners and are less likely to puncture too :) Everyone at the last event used M&S becuase you loose less time on the tar compared with running tarmac tyres on the loose.

My membership runs out at the end of Feb  Guess I'll be renewing then :D

Think you'll find you have 6 months so that takes it to May..... SMC are one of the cheapest to join though and are members of Welsh, West and East Mids Assocs which cover all the good rallies anyway :D

Yay, a convert! That's one brought over to the dark side, how many more to go :-)

Not a convert, just coming back to my roots (if you are talking about getting a pre-VAG skoda.

If its about the joining SMC, its a pleasure & Erik, it does run out end of Feb :(

OK, I'm sure we'll come up with a solution somehow :D

Does anyone want to know the date and name for the next slalom at Three Sisters......
