New battery recommendations?

Featured Replies

Highly recommended Tanya batteries ( not brand ) just 1 warning, when placing order MAKE SURE they don't use Yodel as the courier company cos they are crap.....3 days missed delivery yet IN on every occasion... complete waste of time...phoned Tanya, re-orded again but asked for a different courier company ( uk mail ) and within 16hrs of putting down the phone the battery was here...hat's off to uk mail & Tanya..

Shame it didn't solve your problem. What have you been using to read the engine codes? It might be easier to take it to a dealer for them to have a go.

I have a Bluetooth module and Torque Pro on my phone. The bugger is that it doesn't connect to the module when the engine light is on. (VERY infuriating) Any other time, I get revs, coolant level, the lot (except engine codes...)

Then I bought a cable that came with VAG/VCDS lite, but I have a Macbook, so I've had to install a little Windows Virtual machine on it so when I get an evening free I'll give the cable a whirl. Hopefully I'll get somewhere with that. If not, I've found a couple of VAG group specialist garages in Bristol who are quite reputable. I'm at a loss!

I thought they were called Yodel because they Yodelled before they threw it over your wall?   I've heard a lot about delivery companies, especially Yodel, claimed "no one in" when someone has been in and in full view of their front door all day! I've always been a bit concerned when I bought/paid then noticed "delivery by Yodel" - but so far so good.
