If you can pay you join freedome it makes the forum a better place to be :D better for pictures anyway and no adverts etc... plenty other perks.

Keep up the good work anyway, not many mk2 projects around!

MAGNATEC Stop-Start 3.5ltr.jpg

Do you know your cars history.

Did a previous owner modify the rear crash bar or possibly Skoda or some engineers as a Mk2 Fabia is not EU approved for towing?

Just wondering if some test rig had been fitted or just a bike rack.

Do not use Semi Synthetic Oil.

You need 5w 40 Full Synthetic VW502 00 / fixed service or 5w 30 Full Synthetic Long Life.VW 504 00 & Still do fixed serving.

Or wait . Ive stil have the receipt . Im going to trade it back in this afternoon

What i mean is do not leave Oil and Filter changes longer than 10,000 miles even if Long Life Oil VW504 00 is used,.

especially if Castrol Long Life 5w 30 FS is used.

If you use some oil best use 5w 40 Full Synthetic not from Castrol / Quantum, anyone's oil is preferable IMO.

This is Twinchargers i am talking about, what others do with VW Group TSI's is up to them but the 5W 30 FS LL can mean long life oil and short life engines....

Would shell helix ultra 5w40 be okay ?

Any 5w 40 Full Synthetic that meets VW 502 00 will do, Supermarket Oil will likely do your engine better than crap Long Life Oil Castrol sells.
