OK, from experience, I know about this. The two above each other - The bottom one (rounded) is the sidelight - but I don't know the size of this one. The one above it is the H7 (dipped beam) bulb which has blown 3 times on my car.

The one out on it's own is the H4 main beam bulb, I'm fairly sure.

Cant be!

H4 is a twin filament.. my old Cavalier had a H4 its dipped and main together IIRC

Speeding are a very good and cheap site (from my experience of them so far). I have not used them for bulbs but their prices for AutoGlym/Meguiars stuff is pretty good and it comes with free delivery (usually a couple of days lead time). i have used them a few times now without any drama etc.

Cheers

OOps - upon second thought, I reckon it's H3... [sorry]

I'll bear speeding in mind for future reference - seems like a reasonable site to me. :D

Ive just ordered something from them today.. but im gonna keep quiet until ive sorted it all out.. "reasonably priced mod no.2 is coming" :D

I've ordered from speeding before - they only deliver to the cardholder's address on internet orders, so I phoned them up to give a different delivery address as I wasn't living at home.

So guess where it got delivered to?

That said, the delivery was very quick, and the price was good.

Still, doesn't beat O2 delivering to both... :D

why keep quiet? :D

I just tried to order on the powerbulbs site, and when I clicked add to basket it came up with some cache/data missing error, so I reckon I'll use it at home where I.E tends to be a bit better than Damn N.Navigator!

I'll just have to go over the weekend with one dipped beam out and hope they deliver to my office on the Monday. :(

Im keeping it quiet because i dont know how it will turn out.. may be a disaster. but the picture ive seen of a different make of car it looked pretty trick :)

Did find a company in the UK that offered a brushed aluminium effect one for the Octy. Sent an e-mail with some questions, got a reply about two months later answering the questions and saying if I gave them my address they'd send a sample. This I did, 4 months passed with nothing, then I moved house...

Well - after looking for a couple of minutes I've given up - nothing from the Max Power external tarting up section is it?

OK.. heres a pic..

dont know how they will look on a furby because of the bigger headlights. i normally wouldnt give anything like this a thought from looking on the website, but seeing them on the car changed my mind :D

oooh - what power are they? - and only

they are Ultrabright white LED sidelight bulbs.. :D like i say, they suit the Leon because of the narrow lights. but not sure about the Fabia due to bigger lenses, the lights are really bright, and may look wierd when dipped headlights are on.

i guess ill have to wait and see :) tho i do have my free bluevision sidelight bulbs if it all goes t*ts up :p

I was going to say - It will deffo look different as the dipped beam bulb is directly above the sidelight bulb, and I guess the Seat must be different... dunno why considering I thought they all shared VAG headlights..!?

Anyway - I hope they look good - I'll take a piccie of mine with different bulbs on when I get them all fitted on Monday.

If i dont like the look of them in the headlights.. i could always put them in the courtesy lights inside :)

Yeah, and get dazzled just by opening your car door.

No doubt that would melt the light fitting. :D

nah you want to put a couple of those 100w fog lamps into the courtesy lights you could dry your hair at the same time :D

Jase,

Bit late onto this but I've had the same problem with bulbs not lasting... put it down to crappy Halfords bulbs as the last set I bought for the dipped (H7's) were made by "Alpha" and have lasted well. Only

Any ideas on the problems with running 100W main beam bulbs in the Fabia headlight system? That reminds me... must go on to the powerbulb site in a minute.
