What yr cr 170 vrs this fit? And is it stage 1 or 2 what are the gains Thanxs ian

It was fitted to my Mk2 facelift, with the CR (not PD) engine. I believe the Mk3 was increased to 184bhp and wouldn't fit without a new loom.

Gains and performance would depend on which map you choose - I'd suggest searching in the Mk2 forum for gains and which maps are preferred and why. I liked it as it smooths out delivery (seems to be less turbo lag) and a little quicker all round.

I didn't use it for long, as I had a good deal on a new Octy VRS that I couldn't turn down, and since sold the car.

So it's currently without a map on the box?

I believe the box comes with 4 maps (1-x, 2-x, 3-x, 4-x) and 3 fine-tuning stages (x-1, x-2, x-3). These are altered with jumper pins within the box itself. I'm not sure how these correlate to Stage 1 or Stage 2 maps. My VRS was otherwise standard.

 

 

So you have no idea what power it gives out? Was it a significant difference when you had it installed? 

Correct, I know the different maps and settings give different fuel/turbo mixes based on revs, but not sure on output. There are plenty of posts within the Octavia mk2 section, where I thought this was one of the much better systems that's widely used by other briskodians. 

Would 100 notes including delivery take it off your hands? I'd offer more but just bought the Mrs a car..... but if your willing to accept I'll have it.

I've had two other offers asking for a reduction, so I'm looking for the full £130. Will be sent tracked courier next working day (I'll cover postage costs).
