Private Plate

Featured Replies

Thinking about getting a private number plate. I like the idea of not dating the car, rather than specific initials. Is there any reason to pay more than the basic price and is DVLA the best place to buy from?

If dvla have a plate you like then they are a safe bet and include the registering fee. My brother in law has one from them.

+1. My Dad bought a DVLA plate - simple & no issues.

Mines and the wife's are bothe from DVLA,great to deal with and very quick

loads of family members all bought of the too

If there's something you like on the DVLA site then it's the easiest place to go.

DVLA is great, if they have what you want go for it. I have a plate from there and it's very straight forward to arrange. :)

If you see the plate you want through a dealer, double check with DVLA, as some dealers only buy from DVLA once you place the order.

Mine was got from the DVLA to. Simple and easy to deal with. Would recommend to everyone, if you see something you like.
