Massage function for the driver’s seat

Featured Replies

Quite possibly part of the dataset/parameterization?

I tried to give to the 5Q0 controller data container/parametrisation for massage seat and it didn't work. It just set the coding for "lumbar massage" to active, which I did before. There could also be needed change in other unit, but I don't think so.

My 2018 67 plate superb 3 (not facelift I believe) has the 5Q0 controller with the coding option enabled but did not do anything while @SashaGrace tried it with the 3Q0 controller with the same results so there must be more to it than that.

I’m still inclined to believe the buttons will be the same just with a different logo on button 3 so there must be a controller difference somewhere.

Mine was 5Q0, turns out I can’t read lol 😆

Did anyone try to change from 5Q0 to 3Q0? Friend has faulty 5Q0 unit in Superb MY2018  and I was thinking about telling him to buy 3Q0 instead of 5Q0, that we could change it to massage seat

Not yet. Not high enough on my list yet unfortunately. Can’t hurt to try though if there is a faulty 5Q0 module to replace.

Yeah, but I am not sure, if it will work with 3Q0 unit, which is why I tried to ask here for anyone who maybe tried this :D

@SashaGrace and anyone else who might still be interested, I read a post on drive.ru about this just now. The firmware and dataset needed are there too (for the Kodiaq anyway). Good description of some of the possible issues also.
