Danger of using the parking ticket display clip on windscreen

Featured Replies

It's about time these rip off Parking Company's were made illegal.

A friend of mine was Issued with a Parking Notice Charge whilst picking some one up from LiverPool Airport. He told me he had never been to Liverpool Airport before and was unsure where to go so he stopped at the side of the road to ask for Directions ( Double Red Lines next to the Kerb ) and was photographed by  a Parking Warden in a white Van ( he thinks )

When you look at the PNC it looks Identical to the one issued by a Traffic Warden. The only difference is the wording. His says " Parking Notice Charge " and the Traffic Warden issued one says " Penalty Notice Charge "  Even the Font is the same...

Complete Rip off

Had the same issue here in Hungary. Of course my car is left hand drive and the Parking guy still did not see it. They are not known for giving a s*** over here.

I know this is an old thread but surely you should not get a fine because there is a delay in the time of you entering the car park and the time you get your ticket from the machine, In many car parks once entered it can take you 10 mins of driving around just to find a space.

You placed the ticket in the display clip - on the windscreen - and they couldn't see it?

It's right in the middle of the drivers side windscreen! It's obvious that it's there!

And it isn't like it's a new invention - my 1999 Xantia had one in the same location.

Had something similar on the service station on the m6 toll. Went in early 1 morning. Stopped at the same service station in the evening. Tried to charge me for parking there for 8 hours. Its amazing what the m6 toll account can do! :)

You need something like this
