Hey guys

After dealership delivery I have found a tiny paint chip on the top edge of the bonnet, where the windscreen wipers are.

I first thought the dealership may have tried to lift the wipers but it's not near the wiper arms.

Anyways, it is barely noticeable but I know it's there.

So being the mega OCD freak I am, is it worth getting a genuine touch up paint kit and doing it myself?

I'd say so. You can buy VAG colours cheaply on eBay.

I bought Candy White and it's a perfect match.

Have you got a link?

I'll have a look!

Skoda dealer, Halfords and eBay in descending order of price.

Your paint code is on the chassis sticker in the passenger door jamb.

Or just Google the name for the code.

Yeah, I got a Race Blue one some time ago to touch up my stone chips. Its a brush with paint in one pot, and a brush with clear coat in the other. Not the easiest to apply either!

Ive just checked the passenger door jamb but only have an airbag sticker.

So any tips on best way to apply, got 2 on my bonnet lip.

I used one in the past but you could always notice it, whats the best way to blend it in so it doesnt sit above the existing paint work?

Im guess stone chips arent cover in the paint/body work warranty?

Definitely not covered under warranty.

Damn, so any tips on best practices to apply it?
