Felicia GLXi specs and the six spoke alloys

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am trying to track down set of Felicia GLXi alloys as fitted to the one in the "all change" brochure

Can anyone give me some more information such as who manufactured them, part number and the wheel diameter?  I think they were 14s but not sure

I once had a facelift Lxi with these fitted but not sure if they were the same, they were 13s I think but I remember that the Centre cap was different?

Also want extras did the GLXi have over the LX/LXi ?

Here are all alloys that equipped Felicia. Dimensions and codes are included. As for the manufacturer... no idea. Ask a Skoda dealer.

I suppose you mean "what", not "want". In that case, have a look at this topic. What you don't have on LXi, it's on GLXi (more or less).

Thanks for the reply Ricardo the part numbers will be very useful in my search, my facelift had the wheels at number six on that list.

A quick google search has revealed the Centre cap design changed at some point and the letter A was added to the end of the part numbers to reflect this.

Thanks for the link too it appears that although the car is advertised as a GLXi in the brochure looks like just a LXi with the alloys and spotlights on.  In later brochures the interior trim changes and it gains color coded mirrors.

The brochures don't reflect the entire range of extras.

Depending on country where Felicia had been exported to, known extras are:

  • front fog lamps
  • alloy wheels
  • airbags
  • sun roof
  • central locking system
  • third brake light
  • tachometer/digital clock
  • safety belts alert
  • speed alert
  • various radios
  • on board computer
  • power steering
  • A/C
  • front power windows
  • heated adj. mirrors
  • heated adj. seats
  • anti-theft alarm system
  • immobilizer
  • cigarette lighter
  • various trims

They were bought off Ebay from a geezer in Mansfield when I had a Felicia 1.3LX Est, and made their way onto the 1.6 that became Uma's 16v.

Ebay/Gumtree/Facebook Marketplace worth keeping an eye on.

@uma1998 isn't your 16v based on a GLXi?   If so if I remember correctly it just had electric mirrors and foglights, they seemed to be the main additions from the LXi. It didn't have alloys on it as standard.

You might be able to order them as they are only plastic?

Might be able to find the part numbers on ETKA online.

small update on this, tried a few skoda dealers and all drew a blank, no longer available.  I have contacted borbet and although they made the wheel it's no longer available and to remake would cost ££££s.

im now trying to track down a set either second hand or new in the Czech Republic, will let you know how I get on.

Uma, do you even understand that people expect answers to their specific requests? Is it your need to tell us what is your latest car pimping project so strong that it makes you go blind and disregard what people are asking? It is not polite yet you keep doing this.

Why don't you create a special topic with your car? You will be able to show off all you want all day long without smack-posting self-praising messages. I promise I'll watch your topic, especially if you'll post detailed photos.

Hello folks, Does anyone by chance has a picture of the mk1 center console  with factory electric window switches?

There were no "official" factory power windows until 1998. However, I've seen felicias fitted with this switch panel:

Thanks Papez, Yep, I have the same board installed but It looks a bit out of place. As far as i know these switches are originally the replicas of the ford escort switch.  We bought the car in 96 and since than I have remembered i had seen some pictures of a felicia with some more squared buttons on the center console. Maybe it was a dealer option or just my imagination. sth like this: http://autoradiokeret.hu/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28&page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1568&category_id=282

Yes, afaik, they were 3rd party retrofit kits used either by factory or dielers, that's why they have these switches.

By rectangular switches you mean these?

These were fitted in factory since 98, but it's for facelifted Felicia, which has different center console, so they won't fit.

Yep, i ve also been thinking on merging this with the panel of the old felicia, but probably i gonna go for this

this is an older audi 80 switch which is more period correct i guess .

I really remembered something like this and a seat heater switch was installed and presented in a catalogue ad.

You're right, in fact, switches used in post-facelift felicia are almost identical to 80/100 B4. They just differ in internal connection and backlight colour.
