Hi mate so u think I should lower and my car doesn't handle that well  so lower should help and I don't want to be sitting in a go cart lol

I just felt a lot better, less jiggly and harsh and much more planted.

Hi mate. Mine was on H&R 40mm and it was awesome. Even loaded it was still good. Just go for it

Is it a smooth ride or is it  like a go cart to sit in and does it handle far better and look better mate

Does any have have the part number for the OE Sport spring for the MK3 VRS? I am on B6 shocks and B3 springs but I find the ride height a bit too tall. I want to drop it a bit further. OE Sport Spring is 0.75in all 4's so was wondering if its the same part as the Golf MK7 as here https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-parts/oe-sport-spring-set/54787-55~hr/

Car stance with B6 + B3 attached.

For the Octavia MK3 VRS, I suggest 5Q0411105HC front springs if you have a manual gearbox, or 5Q0411105HD front springs if you have an automatic gearbox.

Here's a list of front springs for the Octavia MK3.

You will probably want either 5Q0411105HC or 5Q0411105HD if you have a manual gearbox, and either 5Q0411105HD, 5Q0411105HE, or 5Q0411105HF, if you have an automatic gearbox.

Some front springs for the "Octavia MK3 2.0TSI 220PS/230PS/245PS" with sports/lowered ride height.

I meant I wanted the H&R Part number for the OE Sport Spring which has 0.75 inch drop. Not sure if its the same part as the Golf MK7 which is 54787-55

What is the part number for this Spring? I have the MK3 Hatch 2017 model Face Lift with the Twin headlights 230hp. I am looking at the OE Sport Spring with my current B6 shocks. Drop is suppose to be 0.75in or 19-20mm.

The Octavia MK3 2.0TSI VRS facelift came out in 2017 with 245PS. It was the pre-facelift models that had either 220PS or 230PS. The petrol VRS facelift model also has 310x22mm ventilated rear brakes, whereas the pre-facelift VRS model has smaller 272x10mm solid/non-ventilated rear brakes.

This information applies to Skodas manufactured and sold in Europe.

So we had the 230ps facelift sold to us in 2017 in India and then the 245ps came out after 2 years. The 310 brake was in the 245. we had the 270mm brake. Either way I assume the part number for the 230 and the 245 lowering spring will be the same for the MQB chassis correct?

Yes, the front and rear springs for sports/lowered ride height cars should be the same for all 220PS/230PS/245PS models.

Are you sure your VRS left the factory with sports/lowered ride height springs? I suspect VRS cars sold in India might have left the factory with standard ride height springs due to their poor roads.

You really need your car's build codes to find out what parts the car left the factory with...otherwise you're just involved in a guessing game.

Hi

The car came with a rough road package and the car came with 15mm lower set up. That is out of the car as of now. I am on Bilstein B6 + B3 (also known as Euro spring) and even though the spring is shorter than the OEM in the front and the back, the car still feels a bit high at the front and does feel a bit nervous around corners. B6 with H&R with 20mm drop seems to be a good solution.

What Bilstein B3 front springs do you have fitted?

These might be standard ride height springs.

Do you have manual or automatic gearbox? The automatic gearbox versions tend to use slightly stiffer front springs than the manual gearbox car...because the automatic gearbox is heavier than the manual gearbox.

Octavia MK3 (probably on standard ride height springs)

Automatic gear box.
Bilstein B3 Springs are the same as Euro Springs that came in the EU octavia. Here is a pic for comparison.. OEM (india) Vs B3 (new one)
