Keep displaying short gearbox errors

Hey everyone,

My 2015 model has run 155'000km. (Previous owner was a long distance user).

Around 150k I started getting these short error messages, the display would highlight the steering wheel for a second every now and then and suggest I park the car and contact a workshop.  

The workshop said the error code showed an error with the gearbox. And after two days of extensive testing they couldn't really find out what the error was. The workshop said they recalibrated the gearbox and this somehow did the trick. This error message wouldn't show up again until just now 5000km and 4months later.

My questions are if someone have heard of the same issue? If there is a software update or similar available related to this issue? If the recalibration the workshop refer to is in fact a reset of the DSG? 

There is no other issues other than the fact that when driving the display will beep and highlight a steering wheel. This error can show up 5times in 10seconds or every ten minutes. There is not a specific situation when this happens and there is no performance difference.
