Bulb upgrade

Featured Replies

Can any body recommend a bulb up grade for the dipped beam and or main beam please. Would it be worth doing? My lights are ok, but I would like better if possible. Thanks wuyang

Latest version NIghtbreakers for your fitment.

I have Osram Nightbreakers in mine. Makes quite a difference.

You'll find any new bulbs usually make a difference if yours have been in for a while

I'd second the night breakers though, they make a massive difference, but at the expense of a little of the reliability over ordinary bulbs.

Cheers all I'll check them out.

I have used a couple of sets of night breakers and found they did not last a year in the dipped beam, I now have Philips Xtreme Vision PLUS 130% Extra Light and they seem just as good and are well over a year old now and still going strong.

^second phillips extreme vision

I have used Phillips x-treme vision bulbs for a number of years and have been very happy with them. However, only the other day I decided to try some of the latest Ring xenon 150 H7 bulbs. They produce a good width of bright light and I really think they out perform the Phillips. Most upgraded bulbs don't last as long as the original OEM ones, but according to Ring, they last a lot longer that the other upgraded ones.
