Fitting a rear battery (in boot)

Featured Replies

Yeah I've got the discs and pads done on one side now and got bilstein b3 springs to go on. Just waiting for DPD to deliver the the b4 shocks but typically I must be his last drop of the day at between 6pm and 7pm.

Could probably get old disc off with carrier on but would be damaging to get new one on.

Yep I've got a wind back tool.

  • You're going to need to learn to google better if you want to do this as I doubt anyone else has...   I believe only the 3.6l petrol had a rear battery as they ran out of room in the engine

  • Just to chuck something into the mix.......  If the dashcam will be recording constantly for peace of mind, unless you can make it completely covert (which might make any evidence from it questionable

Charger +ve to pin 9

Charger -ve to pin 13

To get quick release connector and fused link with indicator I just cut the crock leads off a spare Cetek charger connector, that way no damage caused to the main charger output  lead (just the cheap crock fly lead).

Yes I made one of those leads for battery charging through the 13pin electrics I just fitted.

Works very well. Company on ebay sells the for £30 but I bought a maypole plug for £5 and used on a old ctek cable to make it.

Cut the ctek connecter off and used deutsch as they are superior for extended out door use.
