Just heard my Kodiaq  is finally at the dealers.

No date for hand over but hoping  for next week,

It's difficult for me.

 

English isn't my first language and I suffer from Tourettes Syndrome so talking on the telephone is not really an option as I tend to end up profanely insulting someone's mother or threatening to set fire to someone's children.

 

Emails, forums......I'm fine.  But face to face or anything verbal and I get feral.  It's quite debilitating.

Im sure it’ll just be the dealers being busy rather than anything dodgy. Frustrating though!

 

Mines been sitting at Emden for a week and a half and I now know a lot more about shipping routes and schedules than I ever imagined. Fingers crossed it’s on  the City of Barcelona leaving for the Tyne tomorrow! 🤞

Booooo not on that ship apparently. Very frustrating. 

Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday, picking it up next Friday

 

 

Mine is expected to come in early next week, scheduled to pick it up on Thursday.

STILL sitting at Emden, been there since 28/5 and has missed 3 boats to Port of Tyne. Frustrating!

Mine took eleven days from UK port to dealership so anytime soon for you I think 😀

Should be picking ours up on Saturday or Weds, still TBC. We have the registration number so its getting close now! Salesman on holiday as of today, hopefully that won't delay us.

Looks like it's already done some light offroading.

I've just come back after picking mine up from the dealers, really happy with it!

My Octavia is Black Magic Pearl not a great colour with all this  about this week.

That's not good mate, I feel for you.

 

I wonder what the delay is.

Ours is being PDI'd this afternoon, apparently no-one to bring it back to the dealer tomorrow as its PDI'd offsite so got to wait until Thurs... at least its finally happening though! Will be about 2 weeks earlier than quoted.

They told me it must be a backlog of cars coming to the Tyne port.... 

 

It’s still in Emden now - think there have been 4 boats come here since it arrived there. They say it ‘may well’ been on the next boat early next week.

 

Not great timing with the drive shaft having given out on my Focus today!

Seriously, if they can't keep it clean between the transporter lorry and their workshop then it's not boding well for it's PDI.

 

Tell them to save the free coffee and wi-fi and to tarmac their bloody compound!

 

Ordered in April and arrived at the dealers this week. Have to wait until 1 July to collect it as it will be a 192 registration. Going to be a looooooong few weeks.
