Just tried changing "Display correction of fuel gauge" on my cluster using VCDS and no code was needed...

I haven't got any clusters old enough to be running SW:01xx to check I'm afraid.

langers2k thank you for all the help and time

Try 47115 for the security code for module 17.

I don't have an answer on what the security code is (yet at least) but I can say that it's probably going to be similar to that of the mk6 Golf, based on the label file VCDS uses on the cluster being a 5K0 type rather than 1K0. These clusters appear to be known as UDS - I'm guessing it's the technology platform they are based on.

Something I find annoying is that Ross-Tech, on their wiki, frequently mention getting the security code from the workshop manual. I have the full set of manuals for the Superb yet to date I have not found this code anywhere in them.

SVM and security (login) codes are either on the hub for the specific brand as a fix solution (used to be called desktop) in the additional info on ETKA such as when you need to code in a new airbag or electronic parking brake ecu, this is the online version, (FAZIT enabled) not the ones you can buy off eBay, or as part of technical product information.

Also the technical bulletins have more info when online, even if you have a pay for use dongle. Think they call it HST2.

I very much doubt the dealer would let you see it though.

FWIW this didn't work for me. I got an error 'Controller refused to send a seed'.

As for turning on the CCS display in the driver info display, this comes from the engine ecu. A company has only managed to do it on pre-facelift cars by installing an image from a Seat or VW to the engine ecu, then it works, but they did admit it can cause issues if it comes to a dealer doing a software update as it will be brand inhibited as it thinks its a Seat having the update.  I would love this feature on mine,

I have got the cruise display working on my facelift MK2.

Which method did you use? Or is yours a facelift?

I've also had cruise display enabled on  my FL 170 4x4.  Was done using VCDS, will see if I can re-find the details as was done over 5 years ago.  Also changes the functionality of the cruise speed + / - buttons, you can press and hold to increase/decrease speed in real time (i.e. speed setpoint changes as the car's speed does) which I recall is standard but you can also now single press them to increment the speed setpoint up and down in 1 mph increments which I find very useful.

Some ECU flash files can be tweaked but last time I asked, not all could be: https://skodapilot.com/2017/12/03/proshivka-s-otobrazheniem-skorosti-kruiz-kontrolya-na-maxidot-skoda/

Nope, can't get mine to display, typical, got a nice green light though :-))

Word 01 = 03L 906 018 CK H24 SW 9978 Coding 00190012042700080000

Word 19 = 7N0 907 530AK. Coding 359303, will update software tomorrow to latest revision but this won't have any effect as comes from engine ecu.

Word 17 = 3T2 920 941 K H05 SW 0607 Coding 411F1 No option to set the dash type on mine.

@DrCorbyLee If you have VCDS, any chance of letting me know your engine ecu part number and sw version along with the dash part number and sw version, not gonna let it beat me.

Unfortunately mods were done for me by a third party so don't have access to VCDS. Do have Carrista dongle to use with VAG DPF app, will see what that can do in terms of getting requested info.

cant remember, found a guide on here via vcds. mine is a facelift yes.

Display Cruise Control Speed:

Display the speed set for the cruise control in the bottom left corner of the MFD

This mod will show the actual speed, not the speed shown by the speedo (accurate within 1 km/h). The speed is visible when the cruise control is switched on and the car is moving, otherwise the total driven distance is shown. If the figures are small it means that the speed is set but the cruise control is not active, if the figures are big (as in the image above) the cruise control is active.

Adaptation - 10
Control Display  select "Active"
