Hi Berisford!   Its winter here so not much use for Air Con - although we did have one unusually warm day where I put it on - and it seemed fine!  When I get my OBDEleven I will do the tweak to chill it further, but dont think it will be as much a concern as first thought.  On the other hand - wow the Seat Warmers are super warm, if not too hot for my liking on full strength (compared to my Merc C250).  Definitely not suffering from a cold bum driving the Karoq 🤣

This is my new Karoq Sorry for the poor pictures (I'll try to get better ones this weekend) but I thought I might as well share since I have the light two tone interior, which seems quite rare.

 

It's a Steel Grey 1.5 150 TSI DSG. Nothing special on the spec sheet but it has the virtual dash, VarioFlex, and pretty much all equipment I really want in a car (e.g. rearview camera, front/rear park assist, drive mode selection, Carplay, dynamic LED lights, powered boot , electronic towbar, KESSY, ambient lighting, blacked out windows, adaptive cruise, ...). 

 

 

So far I'm really pleased with the car overall. I'm in love with the color combo both exterior and interior and I'm surprised that it drives as well as it does. Quiet, comfortable ride and exceptional build quality. Pleasantly surprised about fuel economy (driven 420 km so far and averaged 7.6 l/100km). I also really love the virtual dash. Another big plus is that my soon-to-be wife (engaged) likes the car as well

 

However, I'm really NOT in love with the seats, although the look nice. I've tried to adjust them all sort of ways but they seem to give me a pretty bad backache. The thing is that I've never had any back problems but I feel really sore in my upper back and shoulders after every drive in my new Karoq. I drive quite a lot of rental cars (this year alone, both crappy cars such as the Yaris/Rav4 Hybrids, Peugeot 308 and Kia Ceed, and nicer cars such as the Volvo S90/S60, Audi Q5, Lexus RX, Lincoln Navigator/Nautilus, Cadillac XTS/XT5 and Chevy Suburban) and I've never driven or had a car that actually gives me a backache, but the Karoq w/ "comfort seats" do. This is, of course, really worrying and I hope that the problem somehow disappears after a while. If not, I might have to get rid of it, which really pains me since I love everything else about the car 😞

Try a search for Meteor Grey. We don’t have a Steel Grey in the UK. The other Grey’s offered here are Business Grey or Quartz Grey. I’ve just taken delivery of a Quartz 🙂

Here is my Sportline sat in showroom ready for collection Monday 2nd Sept

 

Had a 190PS TSI overnight, nice town car and quite peppy that engine.

Had a couple of days now with my Sportline and think its great, better than the Ford Kuga I used to own.

This wheels are actually 18" replicas of 19"/20" Skoda Xtreem alloys.  But Original one are to bloody expensive.  And I wanted 18" to have a bit more comfort  ride.

Meteor Grey, currently the preferred choice of colour for Nottinghamshire constabulary's unmarked pursuit vehicles. 

Took delivery of this beauty yesterday!

The Business Grey paint is much nicer than I was expecting, had a blue tint to it, the photo doesn't do it justice.

 

So nice to drive.

What is the cutout for just underneath the headlight on the right of the turning light. It is absent on some Koraqs with no cut out present. I can only guess it’s for a light of some sort?
