What have you done to your Superb III today?

Some interesting reviews alright.  Have you these on long and did you have Continentals on originally?

Chucked a bucket of water over it. Three hours later this is the result.         Happy with that

Give the Superb a ‘quick’ wash. A bit too warm/sunny for anything major.

Just mounted today, had Contis Premium Contact 5. First impressions are slightly less road noise from the rear of the car which is what I was hoping for.

Traded it in for a Volvo V90 :)

About 580 miles.

Aberdeen to Hampshire:

All comfy and happy not too bad for a petrol.

Even parked next to it's sibling, petrol blue L&K hatch, during a stop outside Dundee.  If it's yours, sorry I was not impressed with the beige leather, looked grubby.

:D Classic!

First service carried out.  No issues reported (as I'd expect on a <1 year old car).  Brakes are worn at 10% all-round (evidently I didn't get the discs made of cheese) and tyres are F=6mm, R=6.5mm....good for another few K miles.  They've covered 21K already!

The service manager was in agreement that the paint blistering/white worm on my alloys appears to be a defect.  Paint thickness measurements and photo's taken and will be forwarded to Skoda for warranty replacement approval; I should get an update next week.

Nice video walkthrough of the inspection part of the service.  I know it's been done for a few years but it's the first time I've had one personally.

Great service from Derek Slack Skoda

Decided to advertise the lovely L&K

Finally ordered my Racechip XLR this week and installed it this morning :-) What a difference!

Great aren't they?!

I disconnected mine for a service and noticed the difference straight away.  Stock throttle response is awful and I didn't realise how bad until I drove the car without the XLR.

Note to self: do not use the sun visor as a grab rail when exiting the car.

Sorry to see that @MartiniB. Hope you get it sorted.

^^^

Believe me, i'm not Hulk :)
i just tried to close visor from fully open position,
such result came because visor's axce has been completely stuck

dealer told me, i can drive 5 days with that, before they can look and decide what to do.

Fitted 2 new goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 3 tires

Nice, simple job over the weekend. Applied some adhesive felt panels to the insides of all the door pockets.  No more things rattling against the plastic.

Very nice! Is that a heated wheel? Where did you get yours?

No not heated that’s something I will never need. Wheel is from EBay.

Its just to remove airbag bolt off and bolt new on on.

Part number 565064241B.

Part I got from eBay cheap for 110 eur, what other can find is  up to them.

Can be purchased at the local dealer also would guess a price for around 375-400 eur.

Ordered some LED fog lamps to replace the yellow ones in my S'perb

New tyres to the rear, reviews looked good and super quiet rating.  Cheap too!

From Tyreleader, delivered in three days.

Tried to get the Debica Prestos but had my order with TyreLeader cancelled for some reason?  Waiting on a refund now....so fitted Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres to the front to replace Continentals, hopefully they'll provide better grip! Seem quieter though and only €35 extra (fitted) over the Debicas.
