Same deal for mine, just the spare wheel otherwise I'd have been waiting way past early nov to get my 245 dsg corrida red hatchback

Scotty you are lucky in one respect your MY19 car comes with 18" alloys with the more comfortable 225/40 tyres. Had this combo on my car for the last few weeks and really enjoying the ride improvement.

There is nothing wrong with the 18s, just the crappy OE Bridgestone rubber in the cold and or wet. It's not dangerous but way less traction than I would have expected just driving normally.

To be fair the P Zero's are very similar at low temps and wet road conditions. My traction control light is getting plenty of use even upto 80mph in 3rd (manual) gear.:D

No surprises esp given your remap. Seems nothing changes with VW Group fitting less than optimum Bridgestones.. My 2003 Leon Cupra was provided on equally rubbish for the time Bridgestones. I chucked them in and went for the then brand new Eagle F1 asm and it transformed the car in less than perfect conditions esp after the stage 1 remap banged in the boost hard from down low lol you literally got the car off the line as best as possible then changed to 2nd to start to make progress. The car was making around same peak power as my car now but Revo tuned the torque curve for the available rev range.. Ran out of puff around 5.5k so you didn't bother revving it out. It was almost perfect for fast real world road driving back then. Different times lol

Also owned a stage 1 Cupra in 2003 (30mpg and maximum 360 mile range from the 55 litre tank) gave 230bhp and 230lb/ft at 5,500rpm and 2,400rpm respectively. Axle tramp was defo a problem in 1st gear but once rolling it was a lot of fun. Remember it did 70-120mph in 5th gear in 15 seconds which was good back then.:notme:

I loved my 2002 LCR. Mine had an AMD map and was running around 270bhp and was probably one of the best cars I have ever owned. Had a rare beast with full Recaro front/back seats in red & black leather.

Nice, one reason I didn't get the R was that I had to have cloth seats. So yours must have been 'aftermarket' or alternatively sourced as they wern't an official option for UK Rs. My Cupra had the leather electric seat option and must be one of the few with that box ticked.. I ticked it with my order ;) (identical to those save the lurid colours/stripes in the Mk1 S3) Workmate had the S3 there were so many 'shared' parts between those cars its was stupid lol

They were the same car, just a different body shell and less the Quattro on the LCR, even had the same dash.

I'm guessing that it was a dealer special or the previous owner had it done. I bought it already mapped and a few other bits n bobs. Will try and dig out some pictures.

In Europe you got the Cupra 4x4 looked identical to mine (I.e. They pinched the wheels and body kit for the FL Fwd Cupra in 2003) so even closer to the S3! :)

Update on delivery for me. Ive just had a call from the dealer asking do I want to do a "pickup" on christmas eve. Now hopefully he doesnt mean they are all going out and want a designated driver. Car has landed at the dealer today 53 days since we shook on a deal. Took me by surprise I was expecting March, now I have 2 days of daylight to get all my extra bits off my old car ready for the new!!

Lets wait and see! With my luck it will be the prototype they found lying round the back of the factory

Im thinking of pushing them back to the new year to be honest to save messing about with the insurance but I'll see how I feel!

They may have had a build slot booked and have switched it to your spec... It's a great car, you'll really enjoy it

@SimonD316 I hadnt thought of that. I had wondered if someone had cancelled a car with my exact spec and Ive been allocated it. I'm going through tonight to sort some stuff out.

Got me thinking, has anyone else picked up a MY19 factory order yet with a bunch of options? I know there are other MY19's in circulation but I dont recall anyone else having virtual cockpit yet!

Nope you'll be the first at least here on Briskoda with a proper MY19 with Options. I suspect someone cancelled and you've taken their build slot! As I said many posts earlier I only got mine so quickly as it was on the very early build slot list for VWFS already. The broker I use who only does VW Group stuff is able to see the factory order list/status down to the individual car/option level and was able to assign me my car

I hope I dont end up being part of an elaborate beta test for the options!!

As a certain person said in that infamous film usually shown around this time of year 'Good Luck' :)

I'm sure you'll be fine everything in Skodas has been tested by the sister brands models way before it reaches their stuff right?

That's only because you were too cheap too buy the DCC, my 19's feel super smooth

I think we know if you don't opt for DCC you need the 18s.. with 19s you need it! Unless you happen to drive on billiard smooth race tracks.. thats not the case on Rushmoor's roads around Farnborough.. well apart from the small sections they resurfaced recently. I thought my ex London Borough of Tower Hamlets exclusively had bad roads

:) Well warranty is there for a reason too, but I wouldn't wish warranty issues inflicted on anyone. I had a couple on my Leon Cupra but luckily nothing too bad/serious.

Try the road from Costco to the Queens Hotel roundabout, that smooth enough.

Brakes, tyres & fuel are all consumables hence, they're gonna get used. Better still, they get paid for outta the joint account & the wife out earns me 2 to 1 so, my 12k miles per set of tyres only costs me every 36k miles or, bout the same as yours, SIMPLES
