SmartLink: Samsung_Android has been disconnected

Featured Replies

Hi,

New owner of Skoda Octavia 2018. Any idea why I get the following message when trying to connect Android Auto from Samsung S7?

"SmartLink:

Samsung_Android

has been disconnected"

Thanks.

Because Samsung’s and Android are rubbish LOL....

I have problems with my work Samsung and that it won’t connect and always crashes, but my personal iPhone and Apple Car Play works perfectly.

Strage is that it worked perfectly for one day and next day this stupid message...seems to me that SmartLink is Android.

Hi Scotty72,

I use Android Auto and AA Mirror latest versions. Did you install something else on top?

Thanks

Just use android auto app on the phone and AA via smartlink on the infotainment connecting via usb cable don't need anything else

Not just an Android problem, I’ve had ongoing issues with my iPhone doing the same and it’s a well documented issue on the Apple support forums.
