Well I seem to remember predicting that Labour and the Tories would get a KICKING at this European election due to their delaying tactics over delivering a Brexit on time. Well if we add up their combined seats WON it comes to 13 out of 73. Now look at their share of MP's in Parliament and you would have to be Stevie Wonder to see that in deed they got a bloody nose as well as a kicking. The Public have given them the answer they deserved, one of no confidence in either parties ability to govern.;)

You make a good case for PR rather than FPTP there. Thank you

Labour coming off the fence this morning and getting fully behind confirmatory/second referendum so something good comes from the EU vote and joining the unequivocally stop No Deal BREXIT by all and every means.

Very OT but i just wondered if you knew that Gordon Brown's Ex girlfriend (Prince Philips Duke of Edinburgh's God Daughter) & her husband profited greatly from the selling of UK gold reserves.

Prince Ruda Duda & Princess Margereta of Romania.

Knew he sold most of our Gold Reserves but unclear as to who benefitted directly other than the Chinese Government who bought most of it.

On a European election night when the Brexit party dominated across the UK, perhaps the most eye-catching story in North West England was the humiliating drubbing suffered by the anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson.

@lol-lol don’t skulk off, we are desperate to know how Labour will get their message across, whatever that actually is as they still can’t agree. Come on tell us plebs, sorry I mean electorate.

It will be even more entertaining to find out how they will win a GE when they can’t even manage a credible opposition.

Unreal how people in the UK and even not in the UK but with a vote in the UK say they want democracy, how something was not real democracy and the Russians swayed the outcome and yet then do not want to happen what those that voted for shows as a result.

Getting new MEP's that are Anti-EU to say the will not take the 'money' and then 'Leave without your temporary post transitional payments and pensions'

seems to be a no no.

The Gravy Train continues on it's merry way.

I also said on here before the election last Thursday that people I spoke to told me they were going to vote for the Brexit/Green parties and that's exactly what happened. What did the clever pollsters predict. The same.:blush

Rather than banging on about percentages the real message from these results are that the Brexit Party was brand new yet won the most seats and if you can't see that very clear and simple message than your blinkers may never fall off.:)

The other point to consider here is that they were standing for the purist form of brexit, leave under WTO

This would have deterred the more moderate leavers and remainers that respected the referendum result from voting for them.

Absolute tosh and drivel.

BXP Ltd. is UKIP in a different frock. It's all about Farage and there's been twenty years of that career politician not doing his job and sponging off the EU and Banks and Rice.

So to claim they are brand new is misleading at best.

BREXIT got less than a third of the votes..

Remain party votes Labour plus Liberal plus Greens got almost half the votes.

I can see the Brexit party and their votes which is quite impressive for a brand new start up, I cannot see the remain party that you speak of.

A shame they didnt think to start one, they could have done equally as well if not better.

They did. It was called Change UK, £millions in backing with MPs from Labour and Tories moving to them. Lots of noise and publicity with its formation with how it will change UK politics but the noise they made at the EU elections was more like a damp fart.

So why did more people vote for the Brexit Party than any other choice available oh wise one?;)

They wait on the return of the Miliband.

That is the Plastic Socialist one that lives and pays taxes in the USA.

Which one? The baffoon who was Party Leader and smiled when egged or his smarter brother not liked by the mighty union leaders (aka the REAL LABOUR PARTY).:blush

And Brexit party only did marginally better than UKIP ie still not even a third of the votes in a turn out of just over a third.
