I was just passing on my thoughts/experience of my first car/van and where I thought it would take me - I was wrong, it was only a small step into becoming mobile  - when it was willing. Plus my horrible memories of getting my wife's just over 5 years old Polo back in a serviceable condition over the New Year period when every one else was enjoying themselves, though I must say, repeating that task on my daughter's late 2009 Ibiza when it was 7.5 years old, was a walk in the park as things had changed over that period, including I think, the quality of steels being used to manufacture some of the parts!
