Excellent - thanks! Think I’ll use these as a replacement as my original discs have 160k km on them now. Are you running them? Do you notice much difference ?

I don’t have them, but they are on my list when I replace my front discs.

Wonder weather these would fit with the Brembo BM5 4 pot callipers of the Porsche and Toureg on EBay?

would make an excellent upgrade!

have a look on here https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/skoda/octavia-mk3-5e/?_bc_fsnf=1&SubPart=Big Brake Kits&sort=priceasc

they sell a number of big brake kits and also carriers for other cars calipers to fit on the octavia.

The ones which I've my eye on are the 345mm Racingline kit. They're a company making bits specifically for vag cars. That's their stage 2 kit. Their stage 3 kit are 6 pots accompanied by either 355mm or 380mm discs. Those other pair are a bit pricey though.

For the Octavia III there are plenty of options for upgrades of the front brakes.

For the ones that you are discussing however you should take into consideration that these are multipiston calipers and if you with the genuine wheels you will require spacers due the size of the caliper itself.

The first a step you can do for upgrade is exactly this - the rotors which is going to reduce the unsprung weight. Another thing is changing the brake lines with braided ones to improve pedal feel. Also don't forget to change the brake fluid regularly and with DOT 4, as the manufacturer prescribes, not dot 5.1.  Just use one with higher boiling point than the minimum required by the standard.

Does anyone know if these are a straight bolt on using the existing calipers on my 2014 (340mm front brakes) vRS? Combined with a fluid change should offer improved pedal feel without having to upgrade the calipers.

Hi, thinking of doing this to my 2014 vrs tsi. It needs front pads and discs anyway. Just wondering did you do the mod and what you thought of it?

Thinking on doing this for my vrs tdi, would be keen to know if the CS discs fit straight onto it without any extras?

That is a lot of money on just discs and pads. Perhaps if you do track days they may help a little. But for normal road use you wont notice the difference.

I expect it would depend if you have the 340mm front discs or 312mm. Skoda changed them on the TDIs around 2016 but build date will determine rather than reg date. The 312mm are smaller than these clubsport discs and have a different caliper.

Ok cheers mate, I best get the old measurement stick out and check the diameter! Mines a 66 plate registered car but not sure on its actual build.

312mm confirmed on 66plate. Would need new carriers and possibly calipers I'm guessing to make it work...

I think vagbremhentechnic do 312 drilled discs or Mtec. Although I’m not sure how they would compare to the clubsport s set up. Others here might have experience.
