I'll eat unhealthy for you Gaz.

Bless you 👍

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of health, I will fear no weevil: for Col art with me, thy cod and thy mash they comfort me 😇

Another wallet busting visit to Costco today.

As usual we went in for some basics like kitchen roll, cat litter & a case of beer for Moi & came out with extra  catering packs of XL size Pork & Barnsley Lamb chops, a wall mounted garden hose, three polo shirts & a shed load of other bits & pieces.

Looks like a chunky Pork chop for tonight.

Early tea, with a mug o' tea of course, and potentially some artistry, with an epic cheese and pickle toastie:

I didn't even bother with a plate.  My body's telling me to eat lots, while i get over yet another damn cold 🙄🤧

Vitamin D supplements are the answer. Been taking them for a year or so & not one sniffle to date 🤞

I made a chicken korma curry with rice & a shop bought onion bhaji that looks like a quarter pounder for some reason 😕 with a slice of passion fruit cheesecake & cream.

Bhaji might be flat to cut down on packaging/ get more in a carton.

Main event tonight was couscous, roasted veg and goat's feta:

This is one of those meals I'd be happy to have every week

Friday, it’ll be cod and chips from the chippy - not an every week indulgence, perhaps fortnightly

That's got me thinking now🤔

Brittany Ferries offerings ended up as Salad Nicoise....I thought it was normally with Tuna not Chicken?

Tonight's Fish Friday was Crevettes and Salad...

Following the Friday theme I defrosted the last Sea Bass & poached it in Soya Sauce, Lime juice, garlic, ginger, Bay leaves, Coriander & served with some Pilau Rice on the side.

Had to fight off one of our cats but all good in the end.

Cod was so large had to cut it in half to fit the plate 😂

The last time I saw whole cod rather than portions they stuck out both ends of fishing boat fish boxes, say minimum 3'6" long.

What on earth's going on with the weather?  I've just buzzed up the shops and had to wear my cardy, and a coat.  Eight degrees and feels like five 🥶  This time last year it was in the low twenties 🙄

Time to bring out the big guns, with a hearty and warming home made lentil soup:
