Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update

Recommended Posts

@boardtc I had a better look, hard to say exactly, but it seems some files are not in the correct path.

Can you recall what program you used to extract, asking as the screenshots of the errors are basically saying that files are not in the correct location (scrambled)

Thanks! Interesting! I used 7-zip to extract the download to the e-drive (sd-card). I thought that was fool proof and would not fail. What do you recommend?

WinRAR as a 30-day trial, though 7-Zip should have been ok.

The path of some of the files looked off.

I will try to do a command line of the files/by folder so you can do the command to compare.

@boardtc Here attached is the output of a directory command, very basic, but if you can run this on your "E: Drive" and output to a text file to compare that would be perfect

DIR /S

To output to a text file, use an existing path, as such
X: (for the drive letter first of course)

Then this, to output to a text file in that path written
DIR /S > C:\Temp\Firmware.txt

0369 full directory and file list

0369.txt

Yeah I see you used the Bare command, if you use same as me, then we have a good comparison.

Fingers crossed

Hello,

I have the following unit in my car:

Device part number: 5Q0035840C

Hardware: H41

Software: 0475

I assume this is an Amundsen.

Is there a newer version available for it?

Is it worth upgrading?

thanks
