Hi, just bought a 2009 black Octavia scout and am pleased with my first drive of it.

my 04 Passat was written off by a muppet and wax looking for a newer one.

i soon realised they hardly made any petrol versions of the Passat estate (for ULEZ) so starting looking at others.

i read some good stuff about the facelift mark 2 scout and I fancied a 4x4 without looking like too much of a lemon.

i got good insurance payout so started to look seriously. So this came up with 1 owner from new with 56k miles, manual, 1.8 tfsi.

its nice to drive a manual after the previous 10 years of automatic slumber and  floaty suspension. 
it seems to handle nicely and look forward to a sportier drive.
