Ever since my eye operations 12 years ago there is one where the red light is contnuous when I look at it but if I look forward then it flashes in my peripheral vision, nobody else sees it and I dont see it on any other lights.

Flickering is more noticeable in peripheral vision - don't ask me the science though B)

Yeah things are good here mate. On a massive fitness drive currently, lost 4 kilos since February, and I might need a belt again. Had the beast out for a drive to the shops today, it does accelerate a bit quicker than the Yeti...😇

Glad to hear it, fitness is a great hobby. Nothing better than investing in yourself.

Get that motor driven plenty!! 😉

Due to bad knees (hazards of working on bended knee all day) it's hard to find exercise which doesn't leave me crippled for the rest of the week if I do too much, so invested in a good rowing machine and a MyZone heart rate monitor belt. When I started my resting heart rate was about 80 plus, now it's down to 54. I'm currently doing abouty 4Kms a day while listening to Genesis & REO Speedwagon on Youtube. 🤓

Like you Rusty I've lost about 4kg this year down to eating less and exercising more. You should listen to Slipknot then you will row those 4km faster.:tongueout:

I rode 40 km last night (very hilly) to and from the running club where we did a 10km run.

Did a 25km ride tonight before supper.

Heart rate peaked at 195 bpm both running and cycling, trouble is the 100% maximum for my age is supposed to be 159 bpm 🥴 I have taken it over 200 a couple of times on the track. Looking at the overlapping graphic results from my Garmin watch I saw something very strange, heart rate shooting up on downhill stretches, I witnessed it first hand tonight, it climbed to 178 bpm while I was coasting at 55 km/h down a hill, must have been the adrenaline rush!

My resting heart rate was 55 bpm when I was fit before having to stop everything 7 months ago, its 60 bpm now but you can see the long lasting effects of aerobic exercise as the RHR wont drop beneath 80 bpm for the next 10 hours or so, the calories will continue to be burned at a faster rate while i am sleeping, will drop back to normal around 6am tomorrow.

Okay, so a year (nearly) on and the Audi is being sold. I did a shade over 500 miles in the time I owned it, so realistically it's dead money. Considering it costs £500 a year  to tax and insure before it even turns a wheel I can't justify keeping it when I have better things to spend my money on. So, watch this space for the next chapter.. B)

500 miles in a year .. i wish i could do that little

good luck with the hunt :)

Still doing plenty of miles in the Yeti, but no chance to use the Audi due to lockdown situations. So just done a deal for something which could well get me banned from Briskoda (if it weren't for the Yeti).

However, it's not for my use, it's for the girlfriend so she can get shot of her lease / Motability car (for the daughter).

Must be something that is at the opposite end to something good looking like the Audi was and boring to drive due to low road tax so probably a C Max 1.6TDi. :tongueout:

Gaz....

Just, NO. :giggle:

Shy, you're aiming sort of in the right direction, but it's more exciting than a C Max. ;)

However, I'm beginning to find that Briskoda is clearly the lord of internet forum help when compared to Ford...

All I can find in relation to technical knowledge is "wil dese weels fit mi fiester anyone no" sort of crap. :giggle:

500  miles in a year :o

I was doing about 12-17k for the last 5yr which was about as low as I've ever been.

I've driven about 1000 miles in the last 3 months since getting the RaRo.

which is a real shock to me. But probably just as well with how much it drinks in winter
