Hi i recently bought myself a monte carlo tech and know there was only 1000 made, does anyone know if there was a numbering scheme for each car and if so how i can find out which number my car is. Thanks

You can’t. 

Welcome to the forum.

There were not only 1,000 made or sold.  That was only what was said when introducing them because sales / registrations were so poor as the Monte Carlos were too expensive so they did Tech's,  then sales took off.
