hmm, just noticed mine a P and i downloaded a K, could that be it?

Here's one for you.  My Columbus (MIB2 - 2016 Superb L&K) has a dead screen and buttons, but still has radio and nav works through the Maxidot.  

 

I'm told a software update should fix - so how does that work?  They say the update needs to go on an SD Card, but if the Columbus screen is dead, how can an update be installed?  Does it update automatically from the SD card as long as the system is on?  Just intrigued - car going back to Skoda on 17th April for the update.

Update will not start automatically, You need to press menu for 10 sec>update FW> from SD card> OK. But screen is dead......

Hi all, not sure what MIB version this one has (2017 Kodiaq Edition TSI) but can someone provide the update file for it. Cheers. 
 

also it has the wireless charging mat but doesn’t seem to have wireless CarPlay...

Wireless will not work due to it isn't support 5ghz frequency. MHI2_ER_SKG11_K3343_MU1433 from here http://uploaded.net/f/5yrq0j

2019 ΜΙΒ2.5 Columbus with all factory options enabled, any reason to look into a SW update? Are other "hidden" features activated with the latest versions or is it just for the older units?  No bugs to report either, never had an issue with the infotainment.

No one has tpi with changes log. Nothing hidden. Slightly changed design and facelift icon of car. By the say all features related with fec and some people wants to activate sport menu, it can't be achieved by OD so for this purpose easiest way to update fw and do patch hy mib bash

Ok then it looks like nothing to gain from flashing. The car came with the Sport menu from factory anyway (i guess because it's a SportLine), and i added the RS theme and the 280km/h speedo via OBDEleven so... if it ain't broke don't fix it I guess!
