  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

2y4m for a VRS TDI??? 🤔
What did you ask for? Platinum brake disks and gold engine cover? I doubt I would keep waiting if I were in your unfortunate situation.

BTW, what was the initial delivery estimation?

Wooohom, and i thougth that my  19 months wait is long :D  With such news i get really pesimistic and i think i will not have car even the next year.

Hi, ordered Octavia Oct 21, given estimated delivery of 7/4/22. Currently driving a Kia Optima on lease which ran out end of Jan. Dealer now extended del to July earliest. I've got another 3 month extension to lease to cover but doubt I'll get another. Not sure how I'm going to keep driving reading these posts. Totally depressed and wish I'd read this site before I ordered.

I believe that this means 7th week of 2023. Are you sure that they mean July? Because my last update, just before I cancelled the order was 16/22, meaning 16th week od 2022. I even got a screenshot of that, thats from their software.

Maybe it really is 7th week of 2023...nevertheless this is just shy of 2 years.

Mine has been in production since 2nd week of Feb and it isn't an RS.

Hello, new here. Waiting for an Octavia Combi (/estate) 1,0 TSI e-tec Style. Lava blue, with a few extras as a fuel operated heater, three area air condition and heated back seats.

I placed the order on 20th July 2021, with estimated delivery on november-december 2021. It soon became clear though that there will be delays.

The dealer informed on 10th March that the car is in production, and that the estimated delivery could be on april-may. Didn't believe it as I knew about the door panel production problem.

But not as the production should be back on track again, I - for the first time - asked the dealer if there was some news about my car. No update, car is still in production. The dealer guessed that the car could arrive in 1-2 months.
We´ll see.

got my weekly update a few minutes ago.as expected pushed by a week to 28/05/2022.that make it 1 day shy of 53 weeks [1 year and 6 days.the wait goes on and on.

I have a feeling that mine will also get stuck in this state - with VIN number and no sign of completion (even though planned for week 20, but we’ve seen now that Skoda has a different calendar or sense of time). Would be a nice birthday present next month though, but I might get disappointed.

I hoped the same as you. Ordered in August and thought it would be a nice birthday present last week. Birthday came and went and my car never existed. At least some info would be nice, but noooo, Skoda gives no info. :)

I'm calling my dealer tomorrow and if there has been no movement on my Octavia, I'm throwing the towel in. I'll source something used. I can't sit here waiting for a car that might not even turn up this year when it was ordered over 9 months ago. The least Skoda could do is at least keep customers updated with exactly what the hold up is on a particular car and be able to provide realistic updates. It's not like they don't know how many cars they've got awaiting parts and what they are expecting parts wise is it. Expecting customers to just sit there patiently in the dark with absolutely no information is a joke.

I had info for may 2022 but still nothing, i think they lost my order. A fact is they deliver the new Karoq's very quick and get moved up the line before any other model.

Probably because it's a refresh model, they already had suppliers lined up for the old one and the new parts they ordered they got them from new suppliers instead of the ones that can't deliver at the moment.

Nice story bro. Look at our care face. 🙄

Skoda actually advertised buying the new Karoq will get you a quick delivery so nothing to do with supliers. They just put that model in front of the line.

Ordered an SEL IV in feb and was told delivery estimated 19 August 22. What are the chances of August?

Somewhere between unlikely and not a chance in hell unfortunately.

Spoke to another dealer today asking about stock cars and got told that there is nothing available at all. He also said that Skoda prioritise retail PCP or cash customers and everything is made to order at the moment. They can secure Karaq's at the moment with only 2 month lead time apparently though for anyone interested / bored of waiting lol.
