Given the backlog that seemed to extist this time last year. sales vs deliveries suggests backlog building. Prodution of the octavia down. Numbers of cars built vs delivered to customers suggests an increase in part built unfinished. When one factors in new models and the focus on those I don't see an improving picture.

I stopped drooling, only getting angry when I see them passing by. It is just another car now I see on the road and excitement is just gone. Waiting more than 8 months with absolutely no info.

I hear you, at least I have some info, even though it still doesn’t mean my waiting time will be shorter than yours with all things considered. You still plan to stick with it and not cancelling?

Just been informed my Octavia estate VRS with winter pack has been built and in transit apparently 

4-6 weeks from factory anyone reckon

i hope for you it is correct,i was told febuary my car was built but a slight delay has come up.i am still waiting and will find out my latest update later today in which i am sure it will be pushed back another week just like all of the other pushed back i have had just like numerous other people on this site.good luck.i am from seaham so i hope my car is in the same batch.

Who knows . Didn't get any updates until today lol

Skoda are now apologising for Octavia delays via radio adverts in Ireland anyway. Heard one for the first time yesterday.

But they are also very thankful for our patience! 😆

got my weekly update a few minutes ago pushed back yet again till 03/06/22 just short of 54 weeks.the wait goes on.

Yes, I don't have a choice. 😞 It is a company car (also for personal use) and Skoda is the norm. Also there is a budget. It would be better if Skoda canceled my order, maybe then I can push for something else, like a BMW or something. Used cars are a no go. Maybe I will push anyway if nothing happens soon, but currently I am driving an Octavia mk3, which is ok, but it's not a DSG.

Aha, that’s why you are ordering extras that prolong the waiting time, hoping Skoda cancels your order 😉 or your company decides to buy something else as the car is still nowhere to be seen. At least our police dpt is well taken care of, ordinary people don’t matter. Used cars are a no go for me as well with all the scammers in our country. 
I keep my fingers crossed for all of us, sadly there is still plenty of us and new ppl keep on coming here, hard to keep track of everyone. And poor @Joss1733, just getting pushed back every Friday…

I ordered extras, because my coworker has them and he waited for the car from Oct 21 till Feb 22. So those extras don't matter. The only difference now is that he doesn't have a camera and his is a wagon. Yea and one more big difference, he is driving the car and mine doesn't exist.

One thing I will add. If this was my money, I would cancel long time ago. No info in 3 or 4 months is just not acceptable let alone 8 months or more. It is like there is no order, no queue, no respect for the customer.

It’s crazy definitely and  it’s not going to be better soon…I was talking with my dealer later this week and he told me that his oldest order still active is June 2019 Octavia…🤦🏻‍♂️, orders for enyaq are still stopped, not one order for new karoq has arrived nor near to delivery…

The only bright side of this story is that my kamiq will be in Slovenia next week it’s finally finished with all the extras and it will be ready for take over somewhere between 16th and 20th of May (2022) 😆

Funny about that…I didn’t know that they deliver it first to Logatec for deconservating and preparing the car for customer. I also got VIN number on Thursday and car is already visible in MyŠKODA app

Are you telling us someone is waiting for a car since June 2019? That is not possible. Has to be some error in the log.

It’s really weird, I at least have some info (even though not sure how accurate).

Gratz, at least someone is getting some shiny metal 😊. About Logatec - I saw a truck full of Octys entering the ind.zone there last December, I guess they went there for the preparation you mention.

That's crazy, how can this be true? I mean 2019 is just unthinkable. I'm hoping that's some kind of mistake. Because i have doubts that i will receive car next year...

I know…I was shocked as well…hybrids are in a total fu**ed up zone…

Same **** with my company’s order for 3 octys iV the delivery is pushed on March 2023 🤷🏻‍♂️
The only thing I can understand is waiting because of the price…
