We certainly can, however I've just checked parts prices and the HUD alone is £1280 + VAT, then there's the brackets & fittings + labour. You'd be better trying to get one used and bring it to us

Worth noting you'd also need a replacement windscreen & ideally a replacement dashboard

According to the picture your camera is missing the washed nozzle?

It's a Saloon pictured, there's no rear washer. Estates will have a washer system.

😊

Hmmm also sedans have a washer option. Instead of using a wiper stalk to wash the camera, sedan has an option in the camera menu to initiate the wash.

Thats a nice touch

However it's unlikely people would want to pay the additional cost for this as none of the plumbing is in place. Genuine hose isn't cheap 😓

Yeah, good point about the retrofit of the plumbing. I guess you would also need an additional motor/pump?

I think its connected to the washer nozzle on the wipers. So no extra motor/pump needed.

Correct. But only in case you have the rear wiper. ;)

I’m looking at purchasing a VRS estate that has all the options I want in it except the reversing camera. Is this just a simple install and uses the actual OEM display on the screen when it is active?

Hi Richy59,

To be honest with the reversing camera I personally wouldn’t use it, but if you ask East_Yorkshire_Retrofits they give loads of advice and help. By the way my new VRS Estate is great I love it, I did have MK7 Golf GTD estate and wanted the new MK8 version, but went for the Octavia.

The camera wouldn't be covered under the manufacturer warranty, it would however be covered by our warranty

Skoda won't invalidate the whole vehicles warranty because the camera is fitted. They'd only invalidate parts which have failed and can be attributed to the camera - which is none, as nothing else is touched.

The camera is a completely independent electrical system that connections to the intended connection points. It connects to a dedicated point on the canbus gateway & a dedicated position in the fusebox

Please find VIN number below, it currently has rear parking sensors only so i was thinking of retrofitting both front and rear caneras to the existing 10" infotainment MIB3 system, is it possible?

Yes it's possible, we've successfully fitted 360° cameras to a Cupra Formentor

Front + rear uses pretty much the same parts but without the cameras in the mirrors
