Hi, 

 

hopefully not too stupid, my wingmirrors hanging off on the drivers side and only holding on by the top where it meets the top of the door, and looking at the body repair section of the workshop manual shows one bolt in the middle which i assume is the reason mine is loose but doesnt specify size, so was wondering if anyone knew the size of the bolt so i can order it without ripping the door trim or mirror off completely leaving me stuck waiting for it to arrive. Attached is bolt shown in manual however when ive looked at new mirror units it looks like a 13mm (approx) hex head not a torx or vw star like in manual.

Looks like it may be item 11, but unhelpfully not given a size in the table.

Also looks like wrong location think its meant to be basically bang in the middle, might have to just order a few and risk it 🤣
