Thanks

Hello @CreweAlex , I am in the same situation now. The Skoda carshop told me the MIB with part number 5E3035816 need to be replaced. I don't have warranty anymore and want to buy a used one from eBay, because at the Skoda dealer it's too expensive.

How did it go for you? I am wondering if I need the exact same variant that I currently have installed or if I can go for a later hardware revision. Mine is the 5E3035816F

Did you face any problems while or after replacing?

Best regards

I bought the same variant that I think came from a vw up, and it is working great. I spoke to the dealer and they were happy to install and update the software on a used part. I think I paid about £250 for the part and £300 for the fitting - saved me about £1200!
