Hello guys and girls, I've got a 2016 Superb 2.0 TDI L&K 4x4 and sadly the rear differential has started to make a grinding noise.

I've managed to find a rear differential from a 2023 2.0 Petrol 280 with low miles. My question is, the last digit on the petrol Superb is OCQ525010AC. I was wondering if this would fit on my car as my diff number is the aside from the AC.

I was under the impression all diffs are the same but the letters indicate a later revision of the part.

I’m sure the ratios are different 3.444 compared to 3.333

I've seen a few others too from a tiguan which is 7 speed, these are listed as 0CQ525010T. Do you know if these would be compatible at all?

Is it possible to check via the VIN on Erwin?

With the VIN you get the spare part Number

I don't think erWin has a parts catalogue associated with it. You need ETKA (in theory only available internally to VW group), or something like partslink24.
