True, but since you also get always good advice, you end up not wasting it in the wrong products ... I do not know how that could work as a justification, but ... I keep it handy 😄

Haha. Luckily for me there are as many parcels arriving from shein for her as there are from AliExpress for me!

Not at all but it’s a defence!

Yes, considering the general random packaging, is good to disguise the items ... "honey don't worry for the delivery pickup/collection (depending on your case), I will pass by/I will be home!"

😁

Its correct - spend £50 you don't have on a part that is quality/correct/fits, you get enjoyment for your expenditure. Spend it on something that doesn't work, or is no good or you never use it, and its just a pure waste of £50.

Ahhh... but spending time finding the right part is an adventure in itself. Just look at me and my heat-resistant sleeving...

This is quite correct also ... I was discussing this just yesterday with one of my mates, a good wrencher-turner ... it has become quite difficult to navigate in between the choices available today, good, bad, and with so many commercial channels available ... a quest in itself!

Definitely agree. Having had a new car under warranty for the last 4 years, I had forgotten how much fun fixing up and self maintaining older cars was! Parts are so cheap and readily available now. Even through major outlets. Euro car parts used to have 2 or 3 choices max. Now for brakes for example there’s 6 different options. And I’m certain expensive doesn’t equal better! And having aliexpress for small trim parts and pattern OEM parts is game changing too!
