I would if I could dude, I would if I could. You would love it too.

Now why am I not surprised this thread ended up like this.

Lol.... 'Going back to bed'

They even see off vrs's ya know... ;)

I don't count the vRS as a recognised sports car - it's just a luke-warm hatch ;) Mil - you should seriously video some of these races you have - you must be a driving god

Chris

Mil, what suspension set up do you have?

It must have an extensively modified chassis. A standard Fabia isn't particularly racing Kart-like.

It's supermil's car :D

Why Chris, thank you. Yes, I do see myself somewhat as a driving god...yet again that's somethin' that must be proven by me to everyone here for it to be acknowledged right?

H&R -40mm springs and a fat Weischer's strut bar. Yes, a standard Fabia isn't kart like, but remember you're probably refering to the Fabia vRS, which you've probably driven, which weighs quite a heavy bit in front (100+kgs is a lot of extra weight), while the 2.0 has more even weight-distribution from front to back, hence making it a helluva lot easier to handle around a bend.

Along with these new Firenza's I stuck on my car in place of those ****ty Toyo Proxes I had on before (really..no grip), my car has become like a go-kart. And I've driven all your Cooper S' and Cooper S' Works and Golf GTi MK5s to be able to compare and give a fair an honest review/opinion.

Now I have to interject Mil, as much as you amuse me, there is no way on this earth that your car will out handle either a cooper s works, or a Golf 5 gti. I suggest that you have been taking narcotic substances, and maybe hallucinated these events.

I have a Fabia, yes its a big lardy vrs, but it has modified suspension, and has been totally stripped. I also have an Octavia vrs, which shares the chassis with the MK5 gti. The Fabia wins in the fun department, but the Octavia wins in the actual point to point department, as the chassis is the best fwd setup i have ever driven.

You Mil, are talking from your ***.

Keep it up though, i'm sure this thread will end up as another epic.

Wooooooooaaaahhhhhhh................

Ok, now Shifty, tell me, are you a stupid person? :D

Where did I say in the above post that I can outhandle a Mini Cooper S? Golf GTi, yes, my car does out handle it (stock form of course). I've driven the Golf modified and yeah, it's powerful and torquey, but it's pretty darn heavy too, and my car just feels better handling-wise. Trust me. But I did not say I could out handle a Mini Cooper S. What I said was I've driven all the variants in the line to be able to give a fair and honest review about MY car's handling.

Come on Shifty...you think I of all people would bull**** about things like this?

And I now wait for Ross Clarke to come and bite me.

You've driven a hell of a lot of cars!

MIL - you are so funny...

Please, please, please dont change!

Ive got no idea why skoda dont mod some 2.0 Fabias and have class leading handling. In EVERY class...!

No matter how you mod a fabia (and suspension and a front strut is only half way there) it is still a fabia - ie budget family car. SO it will always bend and wobble when yo dont want it to...

I find it exasperating for you, MIL, to keep going on about your car, which Im sure is ace, but compared to stock only. You bring it upon yourslef when you write these posts...

Keep it up...

My car would beat your car Mil :)

don't be daft! his tires are matched perfect and staggered special - he could pass you on the outside in turn four...:P

Maybe so, but I washed, polished and waxed mine today, resulting in better aero dynamics :D

But Walkie, you dont have a Skoda Fabiexige

And you dont have the over-imagination of a 7 year old child...

MIL does tho...

Maybe if everyone on the site chipped in a few quid, we could get Mil and his car over here so we can just how quick it really is :D

Chris
