Now I have to interject Mil' date=' as much as you amuse me, there is no way on this earth that your car will out handle either a cooper s works, or a Golf 5 gti. I suggest that you have been taking narcotic substances, and maybe hallucinated these events.

I have a Fabia, yes its a big lardy vrs, but it has modified suspension, and has been totally stripped. I also have an Octavia vrs, which shares the chassis with the MK5 gti. The Fabia wins in the fun department, but the Octavia wins in the actual point to point department, as the chassis is the best fwd setup i have ever driven.

You Mil, are talking from your ***.

Keep it up though, i'm sure this thread will end up as another epic.[/quote']

thanks, Dave - made my day

Phil, I would probably murder you in a race with my car around corners.

Phil - I notice you're not defending your 30k heap o' ****e ;)

Chris

I took the word "murder" to mean Milton Keynes would crash into my car in order to kill me ?

Oh bugger off all of you.

And I don't have the over imagination of a 7 year old either.

So fly away.

Just the temper tantrums of an 8 year old instead eh Mil...

:D

Have you drilled the air box, Mil ? I hear that makes them faster still.

Cool mod that Phil.

Drill your brake discs too Mil, get rid of some unnessesary weight. ;)

Don't forget to lay the rear seats flat too ;)

Chris

PS. I feel like a newbie to Briskoda again.

Would you like someone to ask if you're cute, just to complete the effect?

This thread has made me roll about laughing my *** off!!!!

Mil - you pretty boy you... :D

I'll also chip in a tenner. Perhaps we can show what a great community we are by chipping in enough to give Mil a holiday over here! I suppose he'd have to drive, maybe £800 total in fuel...?

5) Tom - another tenner from me.

Perhaps we should start a list of those wanting to pay to send him back again? Maybe it'd get a better response?

i'll pay £100, i want mil at trax :)

supermil Vs. Eddy :D

So thats £190 already! Nice one!

I might get some stickier tyres on and go kick your *** mil...

hell i dont even know you but this thread delivers...

LEt me be brutally honest about what i see here..

Mil's digs hole..

Someone comments on the hole knowing more about whatever the hole contained than mil's did

Mil's digs another hole next to the one he already dug in an attempt to take teh focus off the original hole

Someone comments on the invalidity of the new hole

Cycle repeats

only got a small engine in my motor but it is almost half of your BHP total lol, no cornering weight, no twist or flex on my chassis and a 0-60 time of around 4.5s,

See you round the twisties.

motor bike?

Gotta be something like a 125 or maybe a 250.

Guys, I think you are being a bit mean to Mil :nono:

Mil,

I appreciate your driving prowess and don't doubt the veracity of your claims. If I flew to Dubai, would you give me lessons? I only drive a humble Octavia SDi and aspire to be a driving god  I've done a teensy weensy bit of track driving, but always seem to get beaten by people in race prepared cars :grumpy: I don't usually have trouble with things like Subarus, Evos and M3s (especially if it's wet :D ) but I don't like being beaten. If you can't give me lessons, could you give me some advice?

Are the Falkens better than the Dunlop Supersport 9000s I have on?

Will some H&R springs and other suspension mods make my car handle better than it does now? The coilovers, ARBs and bushes don't seem to be enough?

Should I get more power?

Would lessons help? Could you help?

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do next man; modify the car then fly there and get lessons to get me to your standard.............

or spend the money saved from not doing the above and achieve the same result by getting myself a frontal lobotomy :D

Gotta be something like a 125 or maybe a 250.

He wont be happy about that - its a racing 400!

Ah, a putt-putt :D

Mil - have you ever raced a motorbike off the line ? I try it frequently but I find the Z is a bit of a fat *** and isnt that quick 0-60. I beat a Vespa last night though - does that count.

I'd also like to see Mil race Eddy at Trax that much that I'll up my offer to £25.
