What are these for?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what these two clips are for in the boot?

Is there something missing that should be in there.

Pretty certain that is a recess to store a warning triangle should you have one

Yes this is for warning triangle. Mine is aftermarket but it fits in the OEM slot.

Thanks guys.

I had one in my old MX5 years ago.

Probably somewhere in the depths of the garage. Will have a look this evening.

Bought mine 6months old from a dealer as their GM’s company car. Didn’t have one so don’t be surprised if it isn’t around.

Don't worry....mine (MY17) rolled off the factory floor empty too.

It’s a mandatory requirement in mainland Europe. So I’m guessing it’s not bothered to be supplied in territories where it isn’t.

Briskoda-branded warning triangles for all.

Bought mine for £3.99 of eBay. Perfect fit and it’s exactly the same as the AA branded one at £29.99 (or there abouts!)…
