Hi guys, first time posting here. Havet been in a forum since the early 2000s! I have just replaced my heater matrix but now spotted a leak coming from this pipe. Can anyone tell me is this suppose to have one of them circlip things on it? or do I need to replace the whole thing? Ive google this for hours and cannot see anything this shape or pattern on image searches anywhere. Does anyone know if this is why it is not sealing as is missing its clip or is it broken?

The yellow spot is where this pipe is.

IF this is coolant thermostat housing, there should be clips.

Part No. 1J0121142 (at least, for my 11/2016 110kW 2.0L TDI)

Typo error

I did try one of those clips but way too small for that part and on the left it just doesnt look right. Like someone has been there before and snapped something off!

Is there anyone that can help? ve googled for ages looking for that part and looked all over ebay I just cant see anything like it.

Looks like the case.

You may need to replace the hose to the bottom of the close up picture
