I've just had my Octavia 1.8t 4X4 remapped by Jabbasport, must say was V. V. V. impressed with service & attention to detail, power up from 150 to 210ish,(would only be 210 on a vRS.as well) cost

mine has had the Jabba treatment ...

Thanks for the replies :) Anyone got any dyno results from the different tuners ? Also, do you know how much boost you are all running?

I am picking the car up at the end of the week and would like to get it booked in ASAP for a remap but how do I make my mind up who to go with?

Cheers

there is a thread on here about cooked turbos from remaps, so I would say work out how hard you want to push your car before choosing the map. Somebody like jabba are well trusted as are the others mentioned.

Best thing to do is have a chat with a shortlist of tuners about your specific desires and see if they can do what you want for the price you think is fair.

where in the country are you ?

So did mine a few years ago but we just carried on, Ive now spent thousands with Jabba & Im still very impressed with the attention to detail, Im also very happy with the 350 bhp I now have. It all followed from a stunning remap that they did initially

Revo for me

Thanks :)

I am in Hertfordshire, Hongkong Is your car completely standard apart from the re-map ? I think that translates to about 220BHP :D

Had my old vRS remapped by Jabba. It was one of the first few that they did, it was that long ago. After 54K miles the car was still going strong when sold complete with remap. That includes quiet a few hard laps of the nurburgring.

Another Jabba fan. I returned to have their variable boost controller fitted earlier this year which allows the remap to be turned down if you so wish.

After months of debating, went for Revo.

So trevkx125, clear as mud then.

Have you had yours on a "rolling road"?

The 4x4s have a different ECU to the vRS!!!

Sadly no as I had just had a BIG bill for the 40,000 service, just quoting Jabba's own figures for the 1.8T 150bhp engine.:)

Surely the ecu being different makes f**k all difference when you overwrite the ecu with a new map :P

I didnt know they were different, either way similar figures are achieved on both after a remap so you are right I guess

Had my octi vrs mapped at jabba about 1 1/2 years ago. Map works well, never had a problem however I did get a full blueflame exhaust fitted some time after and they wouldnt tweek it, only a full remap cost:mad:

What year is your 4x4? I believe early ones (pre 2001) have the K03 rather than K03s which would explain why you haven't broke the 200bhp barrier.
