Phew, I think we're finally there just need to dot a few I's and cross a few legs/fingers.

Briskoda proudly presents the first (of hopefully many) National Briskoda Trackday.

The venue will be Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground (see link) http://www.bruntingthorpe.com/

The date is April 24th. /EDIT REVISED DATE. 24th APRIL 2004 (Saturday)

Cost will be £90 per car (Driver and passenger). Payment details to follow.

We will have exclusive use of the FULL track + the small handling course which is loads of fun and all under an instructors watchful eye.

The price includes 3 on site instructors for anyone who wishes it. These guys will sit in your car as a passenger and show/instruct on the best possible way of getting the most out of your car and the track.

There will be a half hour driver briefing of do's and don'ts, anyone found to be flaunting the rules will not be allowed back on the track, NO REFUNDS. This is out of our control, you have been warned.

Qualified marshals will be dotted around the track, Braking, turn in, apex and exit points will be clearly marked by cones. There's even a burger van for Mr. Ffelen

Please note that this is not just a trackday but a national meet so spectators are very welcome. We will be running in sessions so even the track newbie's amongst us can feel safe, you can even have your own instructor. If you've never been on a track before this is an absolute must do.

also i have some mates who would be interested to come along in thier (non - skoda) cars. Does anyone have objections to them coming along. (although as John has already answered this i'll still ask)

I think its worth pointing out that it is for all members of the site, regardless of their car type.

It is worth pointing out that there are a high proportion of beginners/novices/virgins (call them what you want) and that the day is, rightly, being geared more toward them. It is meant to be a non-threatening way for people to get into trackdays / learn more about their cars at speeds not really advisable for the public road.

As Des pointed out in his first post, anyone driving like a **** will be kicked out with no refund available, it is meant to be fun., so roll up, roll up for our first trackday
