That car is incredibly ugly. If it was a baby you'd slap it's mother.

new cars are always contensious though, I agree it doesn't look nice but cars always look better in the flesh and if we go through a few finer points.

A) The current gen FABIA doesn't really look that nice, not in comparison to an Alfa, Golf GTi, Audi A4 S-Line's and the like. I know it's personal preference a lot here, but generally most agree it's pretty bland both outside and inside

B) The new Fabia couldn't look better than the equivalent Polo or Ibiza could it? otherwise people would question why spend the extra

Clearest yet: Nov

haha eyebrows as standard, looks like a puppy!:)

i predict the fabia will look like this!!:P

sh!tty photoshop i know:O

11958.attach

 Cool, I knew it would brush up nicely :)

Rear lights are much better on Leon's one but that's probably quite accurate cos they're all disguised at the moment still.

I like it can't wait for the new Vrs model.:)

Ew. I just watched the video. I'm not sure I could bring myself to buy a car quite that grotesque.

End of an era then. The days of Skodas with body-coloured A and B pillars are over...

Its not too bad actually ,mind you I quite like the current Suzuki Swift , and the BMW 1 Series , which is where they seem to have cribbed most of their ideas from!

Has anyone seen any dimensions quoted for the new Fabia? I presume that, as always with a new model it will be bigger and heavier than the current model, but I would be interested to know by how much.

Looks like a 307 meets with a Suzuki Swift. Neutral on the aesthetics at the moment, but brings the Fabia up to date. Easier to put things in the boot as it looks like a flat entrance. Wonder if they have a Jabba ARB as standard?

Dont forget the one in the video is still covered in the disguise and will look nothing like that when released. The photoshopped picture is much better, the front will look very roomster like with all the the tape removed to disguise it.

Actually it looks pretty good.

might have a split tailgate like the joyster - by the looks of the boot. wich might be pretty funky for meets! there thinking about it! :P it does look quite dynamic though

Look alikes? At least it is not like the new Honda CRV. The front end is like a ten year old Astra!!

Just found these new photos of the new Fabia over at WorldCarFans.com. They're undisgiused spyshots...

The front certainly looks very Roomstery!

Yep; there is a clear resemblance to the Roomster for the front half of the car. I was told by a Skoda UK rep at a motor show back in June, when they had a Roomster on show, that it is of course the 'Family' look but actually the styling for the Fabia was done first.

Mind you, I hope that it is not a production colour - it looks neither silver nor grey and either way is yuck!

Alloys are good, 16"? - very similar to the Octavia vRS and interesting to see the trim on the dash around the air vents; aluminium? Xenon headlights, aero wipers, deep front spoiler ....... could it even be a vRS??

Well looks like I will be placing an order for this when it comes out. I really like the look of the car and esp the front which looks a little more upmarket than the current car. Hope they do it in the Octavia race blue though.

Ummm.. i'd still wait for the official images, but its disappointing when it comes to looks to be honest, the front is way too like the roomster and its very tall for its width, and it looks much bigger than the old fabia, and the back is messed up big time with its plain red rear lights

They're photoshops of the disguised one on auto.cz again. I preferred LYK's rear with the C-Motif lamps but the front looks pretty good

That's quite a deep front spoiler but I'm pretty sure that's not the vRS.

Alloys on the second photoshop are 16in off the Roomster.

The height /width thing is something we have to thank EU safety legislation for. The rules now state that to be pedestrian friendly there mus be a gap of quiet a few inches (the exact size escapes me) between the top of the engine and bonnet. Thats why all new cars have this tall approach. Even the Octy II is like this in having a much higher bonnet.

Now if someone could photoshop the license plate in the rear picture and take it off the bumper and stick it on the tailgate where I think it will ultimately be in a recess maybe that will make the back look less chunky.

my photoshop doesnt show anymore:( or is it just my pc? mine looks better than that! lol thats a blatant chop lol those rear lights look naff!

I think the fabia is quite a good looking car, there are some ugly looking cars out there especially citreons,i dont like them at all.Its when you first see a car, you make your mind up.

True....unless they equipped it with a bonnet that popped up when a pedestrian is struck a la new Jaguar XK!
