Admiral are pretty damn cheap though, for young drivers anyway! I use them and they give ace quotes.

well, they may have bumped it up, but after ringing round some more, they're still cheapest !

Like you good people, still waiting.....................but now wondering if I should have bought a standard vRS if the insurance is going to be higher. Has anybody else been quoted a higher price for the Ltd edition? Anybody selling an old vRS with a sunroof - I always wanted one but could never find one!

Just been to look at number #54 at the dealer in Aberdeen

Now very happy I decided to change my red one for the SE.... perfect:thumbup:

I am 4th on their list and have been promised it by the end of the month. cant wait

Number 016 is at the skoda gatage in Liverpool. My brother is 1st on the list at the liverpool gagage but the 1st car they got ended up being the accountants! He has been told he should have his by the end of the month.

What finance packages have people been offered from skoda on the VRS SE??

Anyone in Leeds?

No 15 is just having it's PDI ready for the showroom tomorrow at DM Keiths

Just seen Number 8 in a dealers.

what dealer?

what dealer?

Sparshatts

My dealer (in Surrey) still didnt have their show car delivered on Tuesday (although when i said i had seen 2 in 2 different garages in South Wales) they said it was arriving tomorrow (being yesterday) but they still couldnt give any indication whatsoever about when i could expect my car through, i believe i am number 2 on their list, whether number 1 is the showcar i am not sure.

I dont understand why there is so much uncertainty about the delivery dates etc, surely someone somewhere knows what cars are being delivered where and when otherwise how does the bloke driving the truck know when and where to deliver them to?!

i will ring my dealer again today for more 'enlightenment' but am not crossing my fingers.

P.S. the 2 i saw in Wales looked good, but dissapointed no electric back windows (i didnt know this had never been a feature on vrs but dont understand either)...apart from that everything looked really good.

I have a Scenic with rear electric windows, PITA with kids in the back ( I know you can switch them off ) much safer if carrying children to just have manual windows. IMHO.:)

Picking mine up tomorrow,no idea what number as yet.

-end of the month !? ,,that will be the longest 18 days ever !;)

,,,,hmmm ,might have to pop in for a look and see one in the flesh :D

anyone on here from Aberdeen taken delivery yet ?

Thanks for message Lambic. Checked it out but no sunroof. Looks like I'll have to live without it and have met blue paint, leather seats................etc instead!

Could you guys please display the numbers of Limited Editions on the outside so I can put on my anorak and write them down in my little VRS spotters book when I see them?.

when will the dealers have there second ones by?

My dealer said that 1000 was the limited number for a first batch. If they sold well, they could make another 1000. My guess is that they are keeping the old production line going just for the VRS, otherwise they will have nothing for this market until 2008. Similarly, VW kept Mk1 Golf cabrios going when the Mk 2 was released.

That would make sense but it would mean that the current owners will have been humped by Skoda just like the Clio Williams owners were all those years ago.

The dealer bends over backwards to secure the sale while the customer bends over forwards.

Yes. I'll get my anorak ...

Well i've just come off the phone with Horners of manchester. They haven't received their batch yet but hope to have all their customers in their cars in the next 2 weeks (fingers crossed).

No mention of numbers etc but I was told the leather seats are being put in over here.

Horners had one in their showroom last week.
