I ordered mine on sunday just gone (25th March) and the 10th April has been put down on the order documents as expected delivery date.

Actually, it may have said requested delivery date thinking about it. I'm not in any rush to get it though as it gives me more time to find a buyer for our current VRS...

Well as of this morning the Stealers still could not order anything on the system!

spoke to stealer this morn said they were not on the system.

But he said that skoda said that they would be on the system today!

Thing is (he said, breaking his self imposed exile) - surely the dealers have to know this too, to be able to give us notice that it's coming, so that registrations and insurance (and finances :Yikes:) can be put in place before picking it up.

Just spoke to SUK and told that two cars should be with each dealer by the end of March. Then others will follow to order. Can't wait for mine now

just been to stealers. he confirmed this and said that one would be showroom model and one would be for sale ie wating list! they will be on the system tommorrow,

also if you are wanting a specific number you will have to wait another 2/3 weeks for the privilage.

Hi Chaps and chappesses! Just joined the thread and ordered my SE last month. Had a few probs when ordering from local dealer as was told I could have 0% finance on it and was then told that after I had ordered it, Skoda UK had said to them no 0% finance was available!

Not a good start to my "conversion" to Skoda but hoping that the car will be worth the aggravation I've had!

I believe that a tow bar is not an option on the vRS - would appreciate any thoughts on this as If i can't have one fitted "unofficially" in the near future, then I'm stuffed for towing my trailer!!

Just spoke to suk and they said the same, should be able to order at end of week and be here by end of month,got my reg number from my dealer all ready and when he gets my chassis number he will register it to my reg plate,contact your dealers and ask them for some to choose from as they can buy a block of them and keep the one back you want until your car arrives. Cant wait any longer sold me old car and now on bike,hope the weather keeps up.

This all sounds pretty promising.....my dealer gave me my reg no about 2 weeks ago so presume he also has the chassis no? i may give him a call in next few days and see if he can set up my private plate but wiating for DVLA to send me back the retention certificates etc!!! I requested specific numbered seats so judging by whats being said on here i could be in for a longer wait?

They'll have to PDI them. Expect it to be at the dealers for a week before you can get it.
