Wowzers...no wonder you have over 13,000 posts....2004!

To answer the question, any Aston Martin.

I've not posted much over the last few years since I decamped to a Fiat. At one point I was in the top 20 posters in about 2009.

I had a Citroen XM, bloody marvellous car, the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. On the other hand the Xantia I had was a real Friday car.

I always wanted a Sunbeam Rapier. One of my neighbours had one when I was a kid and I thought they looked really nice

One of those cars the Banana Splits had, The Mystery Machine, Geneveive, The red Mini from the original version of 'The Italian Job', The Batcar, and one of those pale blue three wheelers you used to see parked up near the corner flag at football matches but don't anymore. Oh and any car from any Gerry Anderson production :)

205 GTi..always always wanted..will never have :(

A very popular choice, and just the sort of car I had in mind for this thread. It's very easy to make a long list of supercars that you were never going to have unless you won the lottery, but these are far more realistic vehicles that many of us *could* have had.

<edit>

Must.... Resist....

For the money I spent on on 172 cup I could had a 205 but I think it will always be a dream car, I love them but something puts me off..maybe the though of it will spend more time on the ramps then on the road

When I were a teenager getting close to being able to drive in the 90's, I always wanted a Fiesta/Escort RS Turbo. This was back in the day when the dump valve was king and not 15 years later ;):giggle:

For me it would be very much a weekend fun car, and I doubt I'd even drive it that hard. Fortunately I don't have anywhere to park it, as I do have the money spare to buy one.

Porsche 928

I *think* there's one for sale here by a very reputable member.....hint hint....

For myself, I'd love a DeLorean DMC12, preferably an updated one with all the rough edges and issues worked out.

A Ford Cortina 1600E in Aubergine.

Mk1 small bumper Golf Cabriolet.

Rover 800 Vitesse Coupe. (Don't know why, but they do have a nice interior, probably the only bit that wont rust.)

I would consider it if I had somewhere to park it off road.

Ideally it should also be white with the pascha interior but I'm not fussy.

Nearly bought two citroen's, a Saxo VTR and a Xsara VTS Coupe, always wanted those but never got one. Then more recently was a Megane Renault Sport R26. Was so close to getting one!
