I will phone them. It's just a pain being in work as it stops me getting to Protyre who I'd usually use. And my first opportunity will be saturday morning... When I will be a fair way from Devon.

Right then, for those that are up for an early start we will be meeting for breakfast at Sainsburys in Farlington at 8:00am, this will give us plenty of time for a chat, bacon butties or full english brekkie and be at JKM for 9:00am ready for the day . Sainsburys is very easy to find on the north side of the M27 on the Eastern Road, see here.

A rolling road is normally used for performance tuning but on days like this it's an opportunity to find out what your car is producing in terms of horsepower and torque which I suppose is more interesting if you have modified your car in some way i.e. remap, performance exhaust etc.

If you feel like turning up as a spectator you'll get a chance to see what all the fuss is about and it'll cost you nothing but my guess is that curiosity will get the better of you and you'll want a run!

Anyone coming from Gosport direction? My Skoda is currently occupying one of the JKM ramps but Jim is working towards having it ready for Saturday. A lift down there would save SWMBO from having to drop me off first thing in the morning!

Is Gosport anywhere on my route in to Portsmouth? It could be via A31/M27, or A36 and in? Somewhere from the west/north west anyway.

Checked on a map, and if it's the little village just east of Romsey, then I'll come pick you up. Not far off my route whichever way I go to Portsmouth. It can be like reliving the time you blew the car up.....

Edit: Somehow I think it might be the town bit west of Portsmouth.... Still could pick you up if need be. Sure it's not far off the M27. Do I see a ferry across the river?
