Im on o2-online at the moment..... and are happy with them..

Good points: lots of free text messages, cheap tarriffs, never had any problems with service in the 5+ years ive been with them

Bad points: Lack of any decent data-options on their online tarriffs, 1mb is free, but its about

I'm with T-Mob purely for th edata aspect. I used to be with Orange but they messed me around (having had an account open with them for more than 10 years since they were Hutchison) and didn't have any sensible data choices.

Coverage is a little worse, customer service seems about the same although I haven't had any problems yet so can't really judge.

We switched from Vodaphone to O2 (at work), and it's dire compared to them.. Loads of areas around where I live & work where it drops out.

Orange is generally the most stable one, I've had them for my personal mobile for nearly 10 years now. One time there were problems for about a month, got full refund for rental that time, been solid ever since.

That said everyone has their own experiences really :P

Ive been with orange 10 years and they have always treated me well. Always had good discounts on the latest handsets. All problems i had, ahve been sorted quickly.

Oh and i have my Broadband free cause of my mobile contract, so this keeps me glued to them at the moment, even though there are better contracts out there at this time.

Would highly recommend.

On O2 myself no real cause for complaints as when a mast went down near me the kept calling me at home with update so spot on with O2.

Contract is with Carphone....... and lets just say i hope that i dont have jump through hoops again come upgrade time

I've been with vodafone for about twelve years and no problems whatsoever. Always willing to cut a good deal including getting phone upgrades and renewing my contract.

I'm with Vodafone

My only complaint is that the special deal I got (web equivalent, but bought from a shop) meant I didn't qualify for the "Passport" that gives you cheaper calls when abroad.

Believe me that'll be one of my bargaining chips when my contract is up in July.

was a long-term Orange customer, then they got too expensive. tried T-Mobile, but reception and Cust service was poor.

Do you reckon Col got stuck for bad comments halfway through?

I've found O2 to be best value overall. I found Voda really expensive, had issues with Orange in the past (although that said, they'd be my 2nd choice for value) and T-Mobile network coverage is poor imho for saying they do nothing special.

Did anyone see/hear on the news today though about customer service from Mobile Providers? Apparently 4 out of 10 questions faced with, they give incorrect answers to! That's shockingly bad.

My private mobil is with o2 online, and have excellent service for a number of years now. Had a small issue with roaming charges, but that was my own fault for not registering for a service they offer, all sorted now though. Roaming callis in europe are 25PPM IIRC, and incoming is free and the service was free to subscribe to last year.

Company phone is on orange, and seems to get a signal in places where the o2 one struggles, maybe due to the different frequencies involved.

Im with three at the mo. No complaints, its cheap @

I have been with Vodafone for the past 8 years. Thhey've always been really good with upgrades and customer service is excellent. Coverage is really good except in Northumberland and Durham for some reason. The best thing is if owt goes wrong with your phone, you can just take it into a Vodafone shop and they give you a courtesy phone until yours is fixed (usually in about 2 to 3 days). If they can't fix it they'll give you a new one!

The only trouble is that they are expensive now and can't compete on new customer deals so I'm defecting to T Mobile.

Been with o2 (online) since 2002 and have been happy with the price, network coverage and service.

Like Col, I'm a bit miffed they don't offer more flexible data tariffs though.

Steve

Im on Orange for both my mobile and 3G data card. Both work very well in my area. They are paid for by my work so I have no idea what they cost.:) Thank god.

My wife has been on 02 online for 4 years or so. Every year she takes out their cheapest tariff , £19 this time I think , and gets a new phone. We then sell her phone on fleabay for circa £100. paying for 6 months or so of her line rental.

I'm on vodafone now and have no complaints.

Used to be with O2 but then they decided to integrate two billing systems into one and it all went a bit pear shaped (as featured on Watchdog at the time) and after a couple of months with them messing up bills I left them.

I have Orange for personal phone which rarely gets used, but things seem to have worked out ok lately.

I have o2 for work which gets abused a lot, but then I don't pay the bills, so who cares?

Vodafone for work. Seems OK, company has a really cheap deal.

Virgin for home due to exceptionally good customer service when i only had PAYG, now on a contract.

Virgin coverage not quite as good, and neither gets a usable signal downstairs at home (in town, not the wilds).
