I've never done this track day lark thing before - do we need to wear helmets?

Absoloutely.

A limited number will be available for hire, or you can join in the group buy being set-up by Adrian (SkodiRS)

Bill register with easy track then reclick the link...you should see a briskoda logo on the front page. You will if done in the same session see an extra event on the events page; that of brunters 24th April.

Any problems, just shout.

Nearing the age for driving but im DEFINITELY going there. hope to gain some more experience of Skodas (hoping to get an Octavia when i start driving :P)

Michael

Saving my pennies for the day. Not sure about full track stuff as this is my day car and my company car but would like a run on the track!

Naturally I want to support the event as well (especially as the black beast used to be owned by the organiser!)

So what i'm tryin to say is that...........I'M COMIN! :D:thumbup:

Thanks, Q, much appreciated - will consult with Jr to see if he wants to go.

Mrs Q is happy to entertain him... she can do a mean balloon bending act ;)

Q - you're just playing to the crowd now, aren't you ...

I aim to please. Besides, the boy loves cars, so it would be a shame if he'd miss it.

Exactly .......and if you allow it , or if it is allowed , I will happily take him (and you) round for a few slow laps .

You have to put it on the track at least once m8 just for the hell of it. Just not sure of the DB thing.

Just not sure of the DB thing.

Yes Des , but it does sound really nice .............perhaps you might think of doing something similar to your car ;)

Des is a changed man, I'm sure he'd never think of such a thing.

Thats a very nice offer Pete, but I am pretty sure that children under 10 years are not allowed on the track. And thats probably for the best, eh Howard? ;)

I will be ther on there 24th, hopefully my stealth install will be complete, three amps totalling over 1500W and a Dension DMP3 in the boot if it can compete with the HUGE sub I have currently sat in the garage! unfortunately I cant take it on track this time, look forward to seeing what I can do to the octy in the near future though?

Trying to talk the bloke round to agreeing to come along. Think he's just a bit unsure of turning up in our old banger when you've all got go-faster motors...

*grin*

However, the kids are well up for it, Temple of Doom being esp keen to meet a fellow girl with attitude.

What's going to happen in the low-speed handling area? What is there for those of us who don't want to go fast but might still want to come and play?

Will you be in black so we can recognize you?

You could be part of the biggest gathering of Skoda's in the land, free sticker not withstanding.

Yes .....tempting .....but is it worth coming and paying for the track or could I get all the Skoda comradeship as a spectator?
