Had just over 150 indicated, would have gone more but these things take a heck of a lot of stopping from that speed on standard stoppers!! My private road must be a little longer than Goochies.

my private road is sadly not the actual runway but the concrete coloured taxi-way to the right of that picture (parallel to the runway).

The runway itself is full of Rover MG's, Audis, VW's and Scoobies.

indeed they do, after complaits of cars speeding to much that section is very much patrolled....................funny enough I do believe that is where I got caught for speeding :D beware silver BMW's

The registration of one of the Octy's that lurks round there begins BU02 O??

136mph on an old airfield.... concrete runway... bump bump bump grrr!!

Octy 2.0 Estate (no mods)

120 southbound on the M32 (woulda bin more but got a backhander from the Mrs when she realised what I was doin :( )

105 from my old Favvy (Ok so it was downhill on the M5 BUT it did it) ( I cannot recommend this under any circumstances, I really thought it was gonna fall too bits around me  )

135mph Octavia 4th gear.....

Hi guys,

I have posted this on another thread, but by our reckoning the Furby VRS with air intake and intercooling mods plus REVO optimisation can do just over 150 on the clock:

There was an old thread for gear ratios:

04 model - 5.67,10.24,16.14,21.88,27.15,32.51

Using this, let's say 4500 revs - 32.51 x 4.5 = 146.295mph

Fast turbo diesel hatch for 12k !!!
